Greetings to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Holy angels and saints in Christ. I am in the process of writing a book on the infilling with the Holy Spirit. This book will help to give the balanced biblical teaching on the issue. I say balanced because much of our teaching has focused related to the infilling has focused on tongues and the gifts and minimally on the fruit. I was brought up in this way and suspect that this is the reason many believers pop tongues but still have problems living holy lives. I will send out a news release when I am complete and invite you to read this thought provoking book (at minimal cost). I will restart on the issue of the elders tomorrow, God’s willing. Until!

Book on the infilling with the Holy Spirit
June 27, 2007The power of the Spirit in Acts
December 20, 2006I thought I’d share a few examples (not all) of the power displays of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts, since He wants us to copy and exceed them. They include power to witness, evidenced by the disciples turning the world upside down with their bold witness of the gospel (1: 8; 4: 31; 5: 19 – 29; 13: 40; 17: 1), mighty signs and wonders (5: 12 – 15); establishment of churches/gathering of believers in diverse locations (2: 41 – 44; 14: 21-23); impartation of the baptism of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands (8: 17); healings of various sorts including by transfer of the anointing from clothing (3: 1-11; 9: 18; 9: 32 – 35; 19: 11-13); casting out/exorcism of devils (8:12); endure persecution (2: 54 – 60); discernment (chap 5); food pantry ministry (6: 1-6); conviction of unbelievers (2: 37; 5:33; 7: 54); spiritual revelation (chap 9: 1; 10, 11); miraculous events (5: 19-26); judgement (13: 6-11; chap 5; 12: 21-25); translation from one place to another (8: 38 – 40); divine direction (8: 26 – 39; 13: 1-4); tongues (2: 4-12); joy (8: 8; 13: 52); inclusion of other nationalities in the church (10); multiplication of the number of believers (1: 15); drunkenness in the Spirit (2:13); word of God spreads like wildfire (6:7); resurrection of the dead (9: 36 – 42); correction of doctrinal errors (chap 15). It is my prayer that we (myself included) would become so excited about the preaching of the gospel and that the power of God would be demonstrated in these and many other ways. We of the modern church have much more understanding of the scriptures and a plethora of apostles etc, but we are yet to cause major consternation to the kingdom of darkness and turn our world upside down. I am talking about a major display of God’s power every where. We cannot be satisfied with the ministry of those who are operating in the power gifts of the Spirit which are the gifts that demonstrate to a heathen and materialistic world that God is really mightier than the demons they serve. Let us (I’m chastising myself as well) rise to the challenge by getting to the place in God where His power would be manifested. It is time for demons to beg and scream when we come on the scene, like in Jesus’ ministry. Please let me know about those I did not mention. Believers, God bless. Hopefully we will be able to move to the power of prayer and fasting the next time.
The demonstration of the Spirit and His power
December 20, 2006It is vitally important that the gospel be preached with the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray continually for this to be manifested in the ministry God has given to me, but I am not satisfied that I am doing works that are greater than Christ’s, as He left in His will to the church. The demonstration of the power is critical to saving those who are lost and blind to the truth, particularly those who think they have power through the occult. The demonstration of the power will cause their blinded eyes to open to the deception of the devil, the bondage they are in and cause them to ask for deliverance from the oppression of the devil. When they are in that state, it is usually relatively easy to cast the demons out. Mind you, when one is preaching the word in any form, there will always be “show downs of power” between the power of God and the kingdom of darkness. That is the reason why the believer must watch always in prayer and remain connected to the power source, maintaining a daily walk with God (like Enoch) so that the anointing will continually flow. Note that rivers flow. Jesus operated effortlessly in the power of the Holy Spirit, exercising authority with a word and unorthodox methods as the Holy Spirit led Him. Where are we today? There were power plays in the Bible (God always won) – Pharaoh vs Moses (Exodus 1 – 15); Baalim vs Israel (Num 22-23); Elijah vs the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18: 17 -40); Paul vs the fortune – telling spirit (Acts 16: 16 – 19); Elymas vs Paul . If the Satan helpers are still alive after God’s victory, it would do them well to get rid of their occultic arts and serve the true and living God, like those in Acts 19: 14 – 18. It might be an even better idea not to bother, because the Lord becomes really angry when people touch His anointed and Baalim nearly lost his life when an angel blocked him with the intention of executing him (Num 22). His ass, who was not such an ass after all, saw the angel while he did not. Imagine that! Herod lost his life after an angel smote him for taking the worship due to God (Acts 12: 20 – 23). Mind you! Men and women of God seem to be an irresistible target for witches etc. They come around seeking contests, but in the name of the Lord we will drive out the dominion of the devil and free them from bondage. That is why one must not play around in the kingdom. The demonstration of the power is important for setting captives free. Many people join churches and function in all kinds of important membership roles, still possessed with devils. Devils can hide. The effeminate spirit is a common example. Paul in in 1 Cor 2: 4-5 says that his “speech and preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”. Blessings
Reactions to the baptism of the Holy Spirit
December 19, 2006There were 3 reactions in the book of Acts to the inaugural outpouring of the Holy Spirit. They were amazement, doubt and mockery. The outpouring or revelation of the Holy Spirit is not always applauded and welcomed by the religous sect/any unbeliever. The amazement results from the display of the wonderful works of Christ and doubt and mockery as to whether or not the prophecies, dream, visions etc were true. If you found out, for example, that the numbers 666 in Revelation refer to three personalities (6 is the mark of man), will you believe? Who are they? The beast (Rev 11:7), the dragon (Rev 12: 7-9) and the false prophet (Rev 16: 13). Does Alpha and Omega mean the Creator and Revelator? After all, God has no end because Moses says that from everlasting to everlasting thou art God (Ps 90: 2). God has a sense of humor (Alpha and Omega is just a term, a paradoxical hyperbole, to explain that there ain’t nobody like me, before me and after me). Satan found that out the hard way! The number 7 means “that’s it- no more. I’m tired!” Seven days of creation, seven sons of Sceva, Seven candlesticks, seven dimensions of the Holy Spirit, seven churches, seven angels in Revelation (with the seals and to the churches), the Lamb had seven horns and eyes. There were also seven thunders and the red dragon (Rev 12: 3) had seven heads and crowns in the book of revelation. That is why 7 means completion. Even God has to rest (not that He really gets tired – Isa 40: 26-31). Anything more than that is one too many (in the context). God is totally way out of the box of human understanding, thinking, comprehension and reasoning. Ask Paul. That is why he could not talk about the abundance of revelations that had been given to him. God says that He laughs at mockers (Ps 2: 1-4). The Holy Spirit is given to reveal the nature and personality of God. We have learnt about Him in abstract and theological terms, but the person with a personal relationship will know that while He is no no – nonsense, He is also a Dignitary (the One who sits on the Throne) but also possesses a great sense of humor. How else will you explain Peter’s escape from prison in Acts 5: 16 – 26 and Acts 12: 5-11? There is so much humor in the Bible that even the youths will say “God rocks”. How else will you explain Jesus fading through the wall of a building and scaring the daylights out of the disciples after His resurrection (Mk 24: 36 – 40; Lk 24: 35-36). Don’t mention the time after His resurrection when He appeared to two greiving, unsuspecting disciples and earnestly discussed the scriptures about Himself, His death etc (Lk 24: 13- 35). How about this one? What will we eat at the Marriage supper of the Lamb? Manna? Certainly not! God got so fed up with disobedient children of Israel that He told the angels to make them some biscuits and throw it down to them! You don’t believe? How come there is a tree in heaven that bears fruit every month?!!! What about Baalim trying to curse Israel and God putting prophecies in his mouth instead (to Baalim’s consternation). How on earth could shouts could bring down the mighty wall of Jericho? Don’t try that stunt at home! You will hurt yourself. The funniest may be Jesus casting Satan out of heaven after He won him in the contest of heaven following his mutiny. Satan has no rest, no peace, no opportunity to win any battles because God makes sure that He intercepts him by the innumerable company of saints and angels assigned to evey country, city and to His people. Of course, we must remember the strategies that will spring the devil’s traps (like intercession which got Peter out of prison in Acts 12:9). Why does Satan lose time fighting a losing battle? It only takes Michael and his angels to cast him out of heaven for one last time in the book of Revelation (Rev 12: 7-11). That devil is out of his mind!!! The people at the tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah had God in such a state of amazement that He actually had to come down to see what they were really doing?! As in, you can’t be serious! Rememebr that He knows everything, but these people were just out of this world! Blessings and more to come
Examples in Acts
December 19, 2006We are to continue in the infilling of the Holy Spirit daily and continuously. The fellowship of the Holy Spirit is a wonderful thing. Benny Hinn’s book “Good Morning Holy Spirit” is a wonderful testimony. However, each individual experiences a unique relationship with the Spirit. He wants us to remain attached to the power source. Daniel prayed 3 times a day, Jesus had a prayer ministry, Peter and the other disciples were men of prayer, David was a worshipper and intercessor and many of the saints who are now in the cloud of witnesses have left us examples of the power of prayer. See Apostle Paul’s review in Hebrews 11. He himself had such a wonderful relationship with the Holy Spirit that he received spiritual revelation in abundance. Relationship leads to revelation. Peter, Stephen, Jesus, Paul and others in Old and New Testament continued to be filled with the Holy Ghost and manifested the evidence of His presence and power by working the works of God (Acts 4: 8; 5:3; 6: 5,8; 7: 65; 8: 18; 10: 38; 13: 9; 13: 52). Blessings and have a good day.
Continue in the baptism
December 19, 2006While there is an inaugural event, there could be subsequent baptisms of the Holy Spirit for particular reasons as in Acts 4. However, the Spirit of the Lord wants us to know that we must apply 3 principles to help us to continue in the same power and authority that came upon us at the first event. The Lord says that these are the principles of (1) abiding (2) growth and (3) fellowship with the Spirit. There are more but this is ok for now. The principle of abiding is found in John 15: 1-6. The picture is one of a vine, a gardener and fruit. The branches spring out of Christ and bear fruit because He is the Living Word. There are other similies that can be used. In order to abide in Christ, therefore, we need to imbibe the Living Word. We spoke prior to this about the imagery of the newborn babe desiring the sincere milk of the word in order to grow thereby (1 Pet 2: 2). Since the Spirit is on Christ and is the power of His word, those who abide in His word which is spirit and life will receive a continual flow of fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5: 22,23) and power which will manifest in healings, signs and wonders, prophecy etc as seen in the book of Acts. The second is the principle of growth (they are all interelated) after the order of Psalm chapter 1. To bear the fruit and power of the Spirit, one must remain connected to the “rivers of water” which is the Holy Spirit in Eze 47 which brought life, increase, provision and healing (Eze 47: 19). The water in Jn 7: 38 is also the Holy Spirit who flows out of the belly or innermost being of the one whom He fills. He will pour out of the believer in power and authority, bring life, healing, increase and provision to all those who receive His ministry. He is the river of life in Rev 22: 1 flowing out from the throne and the Lamb. You cannot maintain the baptism of the Holy Spirit without a life of fellowship with God the Father and the son. This brings us to the principle of the fellowship of the Spirit (Philomen 2: 1) which brings us to the heart of God. This is the life of prayer, worship, intercessions (Rom 8: 28), following the patterns of the Spirit in unity, peace, communion etc as we learned in Acts 2. He is the one who abides in us by the anointing to teach us all things, comfort us and cause us to abide in God (1 Jn 2: 27). He is the promise or gift of the Father which Paul exorted Timothy to “stir up” in him (1 Tim 4: 4). Don’t allow the power of the Spirit to remain dormant and unused in your life. Use every opportunity to use it like the disciples did in the book of Acts. Blessings and God bless. Homework is to look for the phrases in
Acts indicating that the disciples continued in the power
The baptism of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts
December 19, 2006We have examined the inaugural celebration or ceremony of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2. Did you do your homework? Very good (we must all study to show our selves approved unto God so that we will not be ashamed when the angels and God quiz us on the day of judgement (test day) or when the enemy tries his tricks). In Acts 4: 29 – 37, the disciples asked for boldness to witness in the face of persecution. When they prayed they were filled with the Holy Spirit and the house shook. We therefore learn that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of boldness and I myself experienced boldness in sharing the Lord Jesus after I was filled with the Holy Spirit at 13, previously being unable to do so. The shaking was symbolic of the shifting in the realm of the spirit because there was coming an increase in the aggression and determination with which they would preach the gospel. The believers also continued with the unity of the Spirit (He is the Spirit of Unity), a sense of commonality in the sharing of possessions (can this be applied today in cooperatives etc in the church?) so that there was no lack (the church is not a capitalist society and God is Jehovah Jireh= Spirit of Provision as in the wilderness), great power (Spirit of power) and great grace (the charis or the Spirit of Christ in the believer= fruit and not fruits of the Spirit since you cannot have one peg without the other). This was the primitive church, but these are principles set out by the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2 that we need to apply today (help me Jesus!). In Acts 8: 14 – 24 the Samaritans received the Holy Ghost by the apostles laying hands on them. Simon the sorcerer (having power to tell the future by evil spirits) was one who used his power to bewitch the people, giving out that he was a great person (maybe prophet). Acts 8 does not say exactly what evidences were seen when the Samaritan disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost, but one can safely infer that they prophesied, saw dreams and visions and worked miracles as Prophet Joel prophesied. Are not these the job description of a sorcerer? God allowed Luke to say that Simon gave himself out as some great one because God disdained Simon’s power source. Revelation shows clearly that the false prophet had the power to work miracles. Furthermore, Saul prophesied when the evil spirit came on him. Evil spirits have information to share but they do not have all power. Look at the contrast. The first time Saul prophesied he was in the presence of the company of prophets who attended Prophet Samuel’s School of the Prophets. God told me to tell you to be careful with soothsayers, diviners, witches, palm readers etc because they bring you into dominion of the devil. You become the servant of the one to whom you give up your authority as Adam discovered. The Bible further says that God hates this mimicry of His power and will not tolerate it in the Assembly of Saints. God is saying the danger with Simon is that he was very good at what he did. He was interested in “buying” the power of God (can you imagine that ?!!) to obtain a greater power that he did not have so that he could take the people further into his and the devil’s dominion. After all, he could now become the greatest “prophet” ever using his power and the power of God (as if that were possible – but people do it in churches!). The Spirits of Self Promotion, Love of Filthy Lucre/Money and Witchcraft are being exposed here. This is why Jesus said in Matt 7: 15 – 25 that some of them are prancing down here doing mighty works in His name but not having any relationship with Him. Verse 23 just hit me because Jesus will tell them (tongue in cheek), “I never knew you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity“. Iniquity in the Greek refers to transgression of the law. See how Paul referred to Elymas the sorcerer in Acts 13: 6 – 11. Simon was operating in the Spirit of Sorcery and pretending to be great. Thank God for the eyes of the discernment of God in His body through His prophets and apostles who expose these workers of iniquity. In Acts 10: 44 on, we see another incident of the Holy Ghost falling on Cornelius and his company so that they praised God and spoke in tongues. The scriptures did not say which tongues. I can only speculate, but if tongues were given for a sign, they would have spoken in Hebrew or the language of the men with Peter if they were not Jews. They could have spoke in tongues of angels. Peter also reported in Acts 11: 15 that “the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning”. There was therefore a parallel between the infilling in Acts 2 and Cornelius’ experience in chapter 10. In closing, Acts 19: 1- 7 describes the infilling of “certain disciples” (they did not want their names in the book because they were so behind time). Paul laid hands on them and they spake in tongues and prophesied. The Spirit says to rest the case, funny as it seems. Tongues are mentioned as evidences 3/5 or 60% of the times. The Lord says that He did not want the body of Christ to become too preoccupied with this issue simply because every believer should speak in tongues as a wonderful fringe benefit of being filled with the Holy Spirit. God uses them as a technique to send major shock waves through the unlearned (to the truth) so that they would believe for several reasons – so the gospel would be preached and to manifest the greatness of His power as He did through Moses and Aaron in Egypt. God has a great sense of humor and does not play fair. That is why the Bible says His ways and His thoughts are above ours. Blessings and good day.
Why tongues?
December 18, 2006The Lord wants us to be clear on the issue of tongues in relation to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Please add if you have further clarity as it relates to the scriptures and personal revelation. The bible teaches us that there are tongues of men and tongues of angels (1 Cor 13:1). There are three principles related to the speaking of tongues. The first is that tongues are given for a sign (1 Cor 14: 22). The Jews who lived in other nations and who may not have known about the Lord’s life, death, burial and resurrection were able to hear on the day of Pentecost the “wonderful works of God” in their own language from non – native speakers and therefore believe. They were so astounded that untutored Galileans were language scholars of 16 languages that they asked “what meaneth this?” (Acts 2: 5- 12). This was certainly electrifying. It would certainly be electrifying if believers of all nations speak the gospel, prophesy and work mighty signs and wonders while speaking in an unknown human language to the glory of God. Secondly, tongues must be understood by the hearers (1 Cor 14: 6-11) if they are to be edifying. They therefore, must be interpreted for clarity. In 1 Cor 14: 21, God complained that He had sent men of other tongues and other lips to speak to the Jews, and yet they did not hear him. Who were these? They were angels, men of other tongues and other lips who were sent to earth on missions in which they needed to speak to humans. Scriptures already confirm that angels’ words are steadfast because they speak what God says (Heb 2:2). Angels speak the tongues of angels (commonly called the heavenly language) but they speak the native language of the hearer when they are on missions. They can speak Hebrew since they spoke to Abraham, Lot, Samson’s parents, Gideon, Mary and Elizabeth, Zacharias, Paul the Apostle, the shepherds watching their flocks by night and Jesus (e.g. Genesis 18, 19, Judges 13: 1-21 etc). They can speak Italian because they spoke to Cornelius so that he could send for Peter who would preach the gospel (Acts 10). They spoke Babylonian because Gabriel spoke to Daniel in chapter 9 and “a certain man” also appeared to him in chapter 10. Michael also appeared and spoke to Daniel in chapters 10: 18-21. Gabriel and Daniel are princes or chief angels and are only released to VIP’s with extremely important kingdom assignments. They guard the throne (Ex 25: 17-22). They can speak English since I have heard testimonies of people who spoke with angels (see the book “the man who spoke with angels”). These are only a few examples, but angels can speak any human language in existence. There are tongues of angels which angels speak in heaven and which believers speak by spiritual revelation under the utterance of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 13: 1; 14:1, 14). We need tongues so that we can speak to God and the angels in the spirit realm. The importance of tongues as a means for receiving spiritual revelation was previously discussed. Angels can speak to devils. I don’t know if there is a language of devils, but I have heard devils speaking in what sounded like tongues (kind of indistinct sound). Michael the archangel rebuked the devil in the name of the Lord when contending for the body of Moses (Jude 9). The Lord himself speaks to the devil, not because they are friends, but because He sits as a judge, hearing his railing accusations against the brethren (Job 1 and 2). Never mind him, he will be cast down one day once and for all (Rev 12: 10). Meantime, we know better now. God is calling intercessors to stand in the gap between the Lord and the accusations of the devil (Eze 22:30). Poor Job had no intercessor on earth, not even his wife, but we do know now we have an advocate with the Father and that we can also resist the accusations of the devil and overcome his accusations and schemes by the blood of the lamb and by the word of His testimony (Rev 11:11). We can use our language of angels to rebuke and curse out devils, earnestly contending for the faith (Jude 3). I have done that on many occasions, becoming violent and aggressive in the spirit. This is a part of what Jesus means when He says that the violent will take back the kingdom by force (Matt 11:12). Blessings. In conclusion, can you please search the book of Acts? You are going to look for about five recorded instances in which believers were baptized in the Holy Spirit. What were the evidences in each case? I have one personal experience in which my own brother Lyndon prophesied and received spiritual revelation even before I heard him speak in tongues publicly. That used to worry me back then, but I was convinced that he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. A search of the book of Acts clarified that to some extent. Now I have received further spiritual revelation, the issue is settled in my spirit. I thank the Lord for this wonderful opportunity to share the truth and to serve him obediently in edifying His body as He gives me the understanding. Goodbye and peace on you.
Evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit II
December 18, 2006We established that the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the disciples was accompanied by their sanctification, prophesying, visions, dreaming dreams and signs and wonders. While Acts 2 does not indicate all of them directly, Peter mentioned all of the elements of Joel’s prophecy when he responded to the Jews’ surprise at the event (Acts 2: 16-22). This implies that he and the disciples were manifesting all of these signs and evidences. Another evidence of the baptism is that Peter suddenly received spiritual revelation and was able to expound the scriptures/prophecies about Jesus, David as if he was a rabbi. He preached a long message and people were convicted or pricked in their heart (Acts 2:37). This led to the salvation of about 3000 souls (what % increase was that? They started with 120 in Acts 1: 15). Unprecedented numbers of salvations or number of people believing the truth will take place when the power of the Holy Spirit is manifested in the lives of believers. Note that the disciples were preaching to religious people in this instance. No one will be able to deny the truth of the preached word of God, particularly when it was accompanied by a feat outside of the natural ability of the speakers. This was the speaking of the prophesies, visions etc in languages that were not native to the speakers. This is one sign that Joel spoke of. Speaking in tongues is a good sign to look but is not the only sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Lord says we must remember that there are also tongues of angels (1 Cor 13:1) and that tongues (of men) are for the unbeliever as spoken of by Paul (1 Cor 14: 22). Tongues are given as a sign to the unbeliever that God knows their language and that He is hearing them when they speak. He uses tongues of men to establish contact with people who do not believe the gospel and who need to hear it, just like He did on the day of Pentecost when He interrupted the Jew’s formal ceremonies that did not bring salvation in order to point them to salvation and life. Other evidences of the baptism or outpouring were long term and evidenced in Acts 2: 41-47. There was steadfastness in the doctrine, even though their understanding of the truth was still limited. People continued to receive the truth and believe in Jesus as Savior. There was a spirit of praise in the body of Christ. Signs and wonders proliferated, the people shared their possessions, the had holy communion regularly and were in favor. Blessings
Evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit
December 18, 2006The Holy Spirit and the angels are rubbing their hands in glee because they are about to incite public opinion. Let’s start at Prophet Joel’s prophecy in chapter 2: 28 – 29 which indicates that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would be followed by prophesying, dreams, visions, signs and wonders. Notice that everytime the the phrase “I will pour out my Spirit” is spoken, it is followed by an indicator of the outpouring. This is not incidental, but written for emphasis, because the Lord knew that the speaking of tongues would distract proponents of this truth in the kingdom (I grew up in the church and this is what I was taught). Please pay attention to Joel’s prophecy which indicates that any outpouring must be preceded by fasting, repentance or turning away from sin (13); sanctification or cleansing (v 16); national and/or local intercession by the priests (16). This is the day of the Lord, momentous and unforgettable in which the Lord will perform terrible works and remove the enemies of His people (20). Acts 2: 4 says that cloven tongues of fire rested on the heads of the disciples. This fire is symbolic of the purifying fire of the Holy Spirit in Rev 4: 4 and the coals in Isaiah’s vision and indicates the purging of the life. He is resting on the head to symbolize the renewing of the carnal mind. The brain is in the head. While it is the spirit of man that receives spiritual revelation, the brain is the vehicle by which we physically hear and interpret information. He now becomes the boss and he runs things up there, taking control of our thought patterns to enable us to think of whatever is pure, true, honest, of good report etc. This is a parallel of His work of renewal and transformation in the spirit of man. He puts in new information, reactions and emotions which are derived from the Godhead and the word of God, making us like God. The evidence of the baptism on the day of Pentecost was not tongues, but the disciples prophesying to the Jews of all nationalities present in Jerusalem for the celebration. This is so because Peter said that the event was the fulfilment of the prophecy spoken of by Joel (Acts 2: 13-22). Another evidence is the disciples’ state of inebriation in the Holy Spirit, spoken of by Paul in Ephesians 5: 18: and be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. The disciples were reeling, singing, clapping, laughing in a state described as being drunk. The Holy Spirit had taken over their entire spirit system and they were entirely under His control. Have you ever been drunk with wine? How about drunk with the Spirit? A drunken man speaks foolishness, but a person drunk with the Spirit speaks the words of the Lord without stopping. They reel out of his or her mouth (like the angels). Blessings and bye.
