Greetings to God the Father, Son and Spirit, the blessed, wonderful angels (hi angels) and to all the saints in Christ.  1 John  3:2 says:

“beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see him as He is”.

John says in this verse that we become like Jesus after He is revealed to us and when we see Him. There are degrees of spiritual revelation, what Paul called “glory to glory”. I talked a while ago about how we see Jesus:

  •  through worship, we see Him through the word because He is the word and therefore downloads Himself directly to us.
  • We also see Him by fellowshipping with Him, through visions and dreams and through transfigurations. Do you get the point?

All of these can be encapsulated under the term spiritual revelation, Paul prayed for the believers in Eph 1:17, 18 when he said:

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened…”

I believe the ultimate is the place when He reveals Himself directly to us, even as He did to Abraham in the plains of Mamre. However, we still see through a glass darkly. The ultimate is our fellowship in  the heavenly city and the new heaven and new earth. During the early days of the 21 day fast at LFT, I began to understand that in the early stages of revelation, we can hear and see revelations in the spirit realm that we do not access in the understanding. This has been and still is, my own experience. One would find one’s self shouting, jumping, applauding etc, but what is going on in the spirit? Are demons being run off? Is Jesus coming forth at the head of the army of angels to fight for you? Is a particular bit of important information being given to the spirit?

Don’t get frustrated? When we pray under the direction of the Holy Spirit, we are making deposits in the spiritual bank that will come forth in the time to be revealed:

  •  You will speak information that you have no direct knowledge of. Words will fly out of your mouth in answer to situations, that which Isaiah called the “tongue of the learned” (Isa 50: 4).
  • You will have divine understanding that is definitely not yours. You will behave and act in wisdom, appearing to know exactly what to say and do at the appropriate time.

God says that He wants to transfer our hidden spiritual revelation into knowledge, because this is the dispensation for this to occur.
