Greetings to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, angels and saints in Christ. I just want to briefly share on the issue of the currency of heaven. This dawned on me as I thought about the little boy who gave his five loaves and two fishes to feed 5000 men plus women and children (Mt 14: 14 – 21). Now how many times did Jesus multiply his bread and fish? What is the equivalent of one fish and one bread in heaven? That child had twelve baskets left over. Now how about the widow of Zarephat who gave her last last little cake to feed Prophet Elijah? How much was that worth in heaven?
What about money? Can we find the equivalent of the US dollar in heaven? The Yen? The Euro? Can we find their equivalent in a place where the streets are made of gold? Isn’t God more than able to provide for His children? How pitiful we are in our attempts to rob God and hold back his stuff from Him? This is an interesting thought.

Jesus compared the lilies of the field to Solomon’s opulence and said that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed or dressed like a lily (Mt 6: 28,29). Why is that so? He Himself got money from the mouth of a fish in order to pay taxes and to satisfy the demands of earthly kings, although He had a greater authority and the earth was His (Mt 17: 27). Where did the fish find the gold coin? Where is that fish that will pay our taxes and bills? Please lead us to it Father. Blessings!
