Greetings to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Holy Angels and saints in Christ. When all is said and done on the issue of women’s dress, it is my belief that we should reflect the royalty to which we belong when we signed up to become subjects of the Kingdom of Heaven. Revelation shows that the saints in heaven dress in long white robes. In other words, there are no body parts exposed. If John had lived in our times, it is possible that the dress may have been modern. After all, angels dress like us when they come to earth. Scriptures show that the royal priest dressed in clean garments with mitres or diadems on the head (Zech 3:5; Job 29: 14; Isa 62: 3).
GOD’S DEFINITION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST

The truth is that we need to redefine who we are by following God’s definition of who we are in Him:

* But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Pet 2: 9).

* And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen (Rev 1:6).

* And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth (Rev 5:10).
THE CHURCH NEEDS A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON OUR IDENTITY

The body of Christ needs to redefine its message of who the believer is, based on the truth and this will renew the minds of those who are members of the Kingdom of God. This is obviously the role of the leaders – apostles, prophets etc. We need royal designers who will receive information from God about new fashions and dress styles that are suitable for Royalty. Did not God design the most fashionable house in the most unlikely place (the wilderness?). All in all, it is more than an issue of dress, it is a matter of identity. This was the problem that the believers faced in Paul’s day. They had only known the cultural definitions and norms and needed to have a revelation of who they were in God. When our perspective changes to the one that God has of us, then our dress will follow suit. Blessings!
