We’ve established that God knew us before all time since He is the Father of Spirits and we came out from Him.  He brought us into the earth to fulfill a plan as we learnt from Jeremiah.  Everyone does not fulfill God’s plan for his/her lives.

Here is what I was taught by the Spirit of God:

* God’s plan was that all men should be fruitful and productive in the earth, living in fellowship with Him. Adam and Eve were not supposed to die, but they CHOSE the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which Minister Winston said represented satan and rejected the tree of life representing Jesus.

Jesus used the imagery of eating His body and drinking His blood when He tried to explain the sharing of His life and death to the Jews. Therefore when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit, they entered into the nature of sin/became partakers with sin.

* Since the fall of man,  we all went astray like sheep, doing our own thing (Isa 53: 6). We all inherited death and shortened life spans

* However, through all ages, WHOSOEVER BELIEVED God’s  plan would not perish, but have everlasting life (Jn 3: 16).

* Scriptures teach us that Jesus was the Lamb slain from the Foundation of the world (Rev 13:8). Peter also said that He was “foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you” (1 Pet 1: 20).

When He was revealed to John, that prophet told the people that Jesus was the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world (JN 1: 36).  Adam and Eve therefore lost when they chose to eat death and not life. They forfeited their acceptance into God’s plan of salvation.

* God always provided a way for mankind to be delivered from eternal death and have fellowship with Him. Here are other examples:

– Adam and Eve – were restored back to fellowship after the blood of animals was slain to represent the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the earth. As long as people believed and offered a sacrifice, they would incur favor even as Noah did after the flood. His sacrifice caused God to promise that He would never destroy the world by flood again (Gen 8: 20-21).

– Cain:  he did not believe that the sacrifice of animals was a way to please God and fell into disfavor with God.

– Noah: preached about the flood to the sinful people of his day, but they were lost when they chose not to enter the ark. Jesus was so gracious that He preached to them in hell when He died (1 Pet 3: 18-20). 1 Pet 4: 6 says that “the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” I am still asking for the meaning of this verse.

Plan benefits are conditional

In the spirit I heard Jesus saying about Adam and Eve, “but Father, they will disobey”. They pondered the issue and decided to leave them with the freedom to choose. God wanted to test these people He had created. He knew what they would do and made advanced provision for their deliverance.

In order to inherit any benefits that God has, every human being has to buy a policy. The premium is to believe in the heart and confess with the mouth that Jesus is the way to be saved (Rom 10: 9,10).

Satan is an abortionist. He will try to abort God’s plan for every human being, as he did to Adam and Eve.

Choice is therefore the critical issue as it relates to Paul’s teaching in Ephesians 1. I hope that this has been helpful. Blessings!
