He is mainly portrayed in scriptures as the Revealer of Truth. However, based on the laws of Prominence and Equivalency (about which I wrote extensively), I believe that Chief Prince Gabriel also is one of the Chief Princes in heaven, commanding legions of angels. I explained these laws in several posts found in the blog thelordsangels.wordpress.com:

and more…

Another clue to Gabriel being Captain of the Host can be found in a statement made by Jesus to the disciples in which He told them, “I will  will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever (Jn 14: 16).”  This statement points us to the truth that Jesus as one member of the God family is one comforter and that the other two are the other two comforters.

We saw Chief Prince Gabriel chiefly in the  role of Revealer of Truth in the scriptures, but so is each member of the God family. The point I am trying to make is that there is one God family – three persons with one name, but who carry the same equal power.

I believe that Chief Prince Gabriel is the angel who fought the Prince of Persia on Daniel’s behalf, showing us that He commands angels. He is as powerful and mighty as the two other members of His immediate family. What a wonderful friend!

Blessings and have a great day!
