1. Why the topic “How To Juice Revelation From Holy Scripture?”

Archangel Gabriel asked me to teach on Juicing Revelation from Holy Scripture” in order to instruct the Body of Christ on techniques for extracting the depth of revelation that is hidden from us. Heaven’s rulers are extremely concerned about the shallow interpretation of  scripture in the earth by Apostles, Prophets, Pastors etcetera and pray for the Body of Christ to grow in grace and knowledge.

Although it is easier for me to conceptualize this topic from another angle, I was instructed to begin in the context of Isaiah 28. In His discourse with the Prophet, Lord God lamented over the lack of judgment and the weakness in the land.

God also lamented over the doctrinal errors in the nation of Israel because of  the intoxication of the spiritual leaders. Intoxication with the wine of the world has caused modern-day spiritual leaders t0 become mentally sluggish and unable to interpret and teach the Word of God to the people.

Sometimes I shudder when I hear the doctrines that some of  them teach –  for FAME and BIG MONEY!

they have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out-of-the-way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out-of-the-way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble [in] judgment.

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? [them that are] weaned from the milk, [and] drawn from the breasts.

For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little:

For all tables are full of vomit [and] filthiness, [so that there is] no place [clean].

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken (Isaiah 28: 7 – 11 & 13).

2. What are the precepts of God?

Precepts (tsav/H6673)  are the commandments given or spoken by God to humans. Ministers of the gospel, elders, parents etcetera have a God-given duty to teach God’s precepts to others under their care.  Let us further explore the word “Precept”. Precept comes from the root word  tsavah  (H6680)  which carries the meaning of Commands given by God.

Note that God has been giving commands from the inception of time:

  • For example, the FIRST precept that God gave was to prohibit Adam and Eve from eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In other words, DO NOT BEFRIEND SATAN. This is the FIRST precept that should be taught to every child and believer  – Gen 2: 16.
  • the commands given to Noah regarding the flood and specifications for building the ark – Gen 6: 22.
  • to Abraham to circumcise all males in his household – Gen 21: 4.

3. More examples of precepts in God’s Holy Scriptures

If you follow the word tsavah (H6680) in the scriptures, you will find many other examples of the commands given by God to humans. Note that some of them related to :

  • guidelines for giving offerings for the construction of  tabernacle in the wilderness.
  • the design of the Priest’s garments.
  • the portion to be given to the priests – Leviticus 10: 13.
  • blessings commanded by God – Leviticus 25: 21.

4. God commands humans to keep His precepts and blesses those who do.

Two of  the previous examples reveal the blessings that are given when people obeyed God’s commands. God also knows those who keeps His commands and expects elders to teach them to juniors. This is how righteousness is passed on through generations:

For I know him, that he will command (tsavah/H6680)  his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him  (Gen 18: 19).

5. A precept is a specific charge or command given by God to a spiritual leader in a situation.

Tsavah/H6680  is also used in scripture to speak about CHARGES or specific tasks given by God to spiritual leaders. The example refers to the deliverance of  Israel from 430 years of slavery. This was a seemingly impossible task, but Moses and Aaron were commanded to release the captives:

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge (tsavah/H6680) unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

6. Humans must speak God’s commands

There are times when God commands humans to speak His precepts even to unbelievers. Moses and Aaron had to instruct Pharaoh that God wanted His people freed from slavery:

Thou shalt speak all that I command (tsavah/H6680)thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land – Exodus 7: 2.

More to come!
