In today’s post, I will cite scriptures related to the favor or grace (H2580/chen) of God in the Old Testament.  I pray that our spirits will be instructed as we meditate or speak, utter, ponder, talk about them.

These scriptures refer to eleven virtues that will bring an individual into favor with God and humans:

1. You are fairer than the sons of men; grace (H2580/chen) is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever – Psalm 45: 2.

2. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace (H2580/chen) and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly – Psalm 84: 11.

3. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother …

for they [shall be] an ornament of grace (H2580/chen) unto thy head, and chains about thy neck – Proverbs 1: 8 & 9.

4. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart …

then you will find favor (H2580/chen)  and high esteem In the sight of God and man – Proverbs 3: 3 & 4.

5. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop    down the dew.

My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace (H2580/chen) to thy neck – Proverbs 3: 19 – 22

6. Good understanding giveth  favour (H2580/chen): but the way of transgressors [is] hard – Proverbs 13: 15.

Blessings, peace and angelic protection.
