Introduction
In the last post, I wrote that “The Kingdom of God Is A Place Called Heaven.”  I was further enthralled to discover that the terms “Kingdom Of God” And “Kingdom Of Heaven” are used interchangeably in the scriptures.
Jesus used the term “Kingdom Of Heaven” 31 times in His teachings while John the Baptist introduced the term and used it once. Basiliea is the Greek word used for Kingdom. Basiliea comes from a root word which means KING and KINGS.
Ouranos  (G3772) is used for heaven. Ouranos  refers to heaven being above the earth and is translated  as:

THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee …

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand – Matthew 4: 12 & 17

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel  – Mark 1: 14 & 15

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5: 3 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God – Luke 6: 20
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5: 10 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you – Matthew 5: 11 & 12

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 8: 11 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God – Luke 13: 28 & 29.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand – Matthew 10: 7 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick – Luke 9: 2

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you – Luke 10: 9.

Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you – Luke 10: 11.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he – Matthew 11: 11 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he – Luke 7: 28
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force – Matthew 11: 12 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it – Luke 16: 16
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given – Matthew 13: 11 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand – Luke 8: 10
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: – Matthew 13: 31 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it – Luke 13: 18 & 19.

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened – Matthew 13: 33 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened – Luke 13 :20  & 21.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 18: 3 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein – Luke 18: 17
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 19: 4 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God – Luke 18: 16
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 19: 23 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! – Luke 18: 24.

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! – Mark 10: 24
