The Release and redemption of the Jubile

There are three keywords in the texts of scripture that show us how God thinks about the Jubile. While the Jubile was, in a sense, a civil observance, it had a deeper spiritual meaning that pointed us to the Plan of Salvation through:

  • the redemption of the human race from the bondage of satan
  • then subsequent restoration to original dominion and wealth that were lost through when fore – parents Adam and Eve gave in to satan. God placed resources in the earth that included onyx, pearls, gold and much much more. Why don’t all humans have access?

These three words are:

  • return – five times
  • restored
  • redeemed

The Jubile Is a time of OVERFLOW of the abundance from two years before

God is so awesome that through Israel, He showed the human race that there is a time to slow down and to enjoy the fruits of our labor. In other words, we must enjoy life.  Remember that the Jubile was the year after the Shemitah, and that this was also a Year of Rest. Wow. I would love to live like this.

Anticipating that Israel would question how they would manage with two years off, God  told them that He would make  provision for the land to bear so excessively in the year preceding the Shemitah that there would be enough food up to the eighth year.

Can you imagine having so many resources that they overflow in abundance day to day,  month  to month and year to year?

This is perpetual and residual income

Can you imagine living in the abundance God planned for us?

We would never wonder  where the next meal is coming from or how the next bill would be paid.

We would not need to stress.  This is the life.

The life God planned for the human race has such abundance that it is unfamiliar to us.

It is not the Father’s will for humans to suffer poverty, but rather to have OVERFLOW.

I thank God for the revelation in my spirit. Thank you for reading. I speak Angelic blessings and abundant prosperity no matter what you are experiencing today.

Sincerely

Introduction to the Jubile

The Jubile is an important Jewish observance that was given by God. Today we will discuss:

  • The definition of the Jubile
  • Timing of the celebration
  • The meaning of the Blowing of the Trumpets at the commencement of the Jublie

The meaning of Jubile

The Hebrew word is yowbel (H3104) and its usage is clear. Jubile is associated with noise or the blowing of the trumpets or blowing of rams’ horns every 50th Year after the entry into Canaan. That blowing of the rams’ horns was first used in Exodus 19: 13 when Moses went up into Sinai to receive the Law.

The Jubile or blowing of the Trumpets is an announcement of Divine visitation with humans

God instituted the Blowing of Trumpets on the 15th day of June, 2668. This was the first documentation on the sound of heaven in the earth. This trumpet sounded to announce the visitation and fellowship of the King of Earth, Heaven’s Royalty with mere mortal man.

Two events took place after God blew the trumpet. First, Moses took the people forward to meet God. In other words, the Apostle led the nation into the Presence of God.  Secondly, as the sound of the trumpet escalated, Moses and God began to talk audibly with each other in the hearing of the nation. The Lord then came down on the mountain and invited Moses to come up higher.

The meaning is that the Year of Jubile is a time of meeting with God and revelation of God’s mind to His People and to nations.

In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai (Exodus 19: 1)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes

And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai

And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death

There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet H3104 soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount – Exodus 19: 10  – 13

And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled

And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount

And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly

And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice

And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up (Exodus 19: 16 – 20).

The cloud in which God visits

We need to pay attention to the thick  cloud  (`anan) in which God visited Israel.  The appearance of  the cloud meant that God was present with His people. What a blessing for any nation to see the visible manifestation of the Presence of God!

The Presence of God in the cloud meant that the Father was there to protect His people, to block their enemies, to reveal His splendor, to fellowship with His Apostle Moses and to give rest to His people. I pray that the Father would return His cloud to the earth:

“in the pillar of the cloud H6051 by day, nor the pillar of fire by night” to protect His people – Exodus 13: 22.

“the pillar of the cloud H6051 went from before their face, and stood behind them” as a barrier between the nation and their enemies – Exodus 14: 19.

“And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud H6051 and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night” – Exodus 14: 20.

as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy H6051 pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses – Exodus 33: 9.

And all the people saw the cloudy H6051 pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door – Exodus 33: 10.

And when the cloud H6051 was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys

But if the cloud H6051 were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up

For the cloud H6051 of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys – Exodus 40: 36 – 38.

The Jubile or blowing of the Trumpets is an advanced warning to the enemy that God and His Armies are about to conquer their territory

God revealed His spiritual warfare strategy for taking impenetrable territory like Jericho.  First Joshua and the army were instructed to  march around Jericho once for six days.  Six prophetically spoke of God’s work in the Creation. God was doing a new thing in the invisible realm and the nation of faith obeyed the word of God, for they would rest or achieve victory on Day 7.

In the invisible realm, or realm of the spirit, the Lord amplified the sound of their feet so that the demonic armies heard “a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host” (2 Kings 7: 6).

Archangel Michael told me that this was a scare tactic, which struck fear into the hearts of the people locked into the city. Day by day they watched the terrible Jews march around their city, a place where they formerly felt secure, wondering what Israel would do and when the attack would be launched.

The army was to be preceded by the ark of God, which represented the Tabernacle of Heaven in the earth. Ahead of the ark, there were seven other priests blowing seven trumpets of rams’ horns.  Drawing on the parallel at Mount Sinai, I see that the Priests escalated the volume day by day and lengthened the duration of each blast, so that the people of Jericho became exceedingly fearful and trembled.

The sound of the trumpet began to cause the foundations of Jericho and the impenetrable walls to quake. Archangel Michael told me that the shofar was given to the Jews for occasions such as these.

Israel, blow the Trumpet of God in Zion and let the enemy armies flee, for God has come to deliver.

On the seventh day, the army, ark and Priests marched around Jericho seven times. It was now time to rest from the six day creation work y  strategy at Jericho reveals that we need to blow the trumpets and shout His praises in anticipation of victory when we are faced with impenetrable or difficult situations.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: H3104 and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s H3104 horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.- Joshua 6: 3 – 6

Spiritual preparation for the Jubile

God reveals that there must be a spiritual preparation for the Jubile. We see this in the parallel between the sanctification that the Jews were told to undergo in the first Jubile and the Blowing of the Trumpets that follows the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur.

We must have clean hands and pure hearts if we are to win any kind of warfare against the enemy. The Jubile is our victory over our enemies. Israel, trust in the Lord for the victory.

God’s Awesome Principle of Rest

Some time earlier this week, Archangel Michael taught me about the Principle of Spiritual and Physical Rest. We will learn:

  • the importance that  God placed on rest by example
  • FIVE key words related to the rest of God
  • benefits of rest
  • how to enjoy rest for the spirit and body

The importance that  God placed on rest by example

God instituted Rest or Sabbaths from the  Creation and gave the blessing of rest to His children.  Rest is so important that God highlighted the concept FOUR times in Genesis 2: 2 & 3. We learn that rest means to end work and to set time aside from labor:

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made (Genesis 2: 2 & 3).

so the people rested on the seventh day (Exodus 16: 30).

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it (Exodus 20: 11)

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed (Exodus 31: 17).

FIVE Key words related to the rest of God

We need to understand the meaning of FIVE important words before progressing. They are:

  • seven
  • rested
  • sanctified
  • hallowed
  • refreshed

Seven

  • refers to rest in the scripture.
  • 7th day was a rest day.
  • every 7th year was a year of rest or shemittah and a time of debt forgiveness during the 7th month. No work was done.
  • God promised to abundantly increase the harvest in the sixth year to allow for provision up to the eight.
  • every 49th year was a year of restoration of possessions and an entire year of rest.
  • Israelis had two years off when there was a Year of Jubile

Rested

  • shabath
  • to cease
  • rest from burdens
  • put away
  • celebrate

Sanctified

  • qadash in the Hebrew.
  • means to dedicate or set apart.

Hallowed – same as qadash

Refreshed – Exodus 31: 17

  • naphash
  • God made the sabbath day for humans to be refreshed (Exodus 23: 12).
  • scientific research confirms that rest is beneficial for renewal of the brain.

How to work smart not hard

The earliest human activity was gardening, known to be beneficial in exercise and stress reduction. This was not really work, because the earth was well irrigated and there were no adverse conditions. After the fall, work became laborious to the point where our ancestors would sweat and would be pricked by thorns and thistles. We  can learn to work smart by following God’s example:

  • schedule activities – there are six days in the week.
  • conceptualize what you want to do and the easiest way to get it done. God constructed a design for humans before creating them – “let us make man in our image and likeness” (Genesis 1: 26).
  • cluster activities – God made everything after its kind (Genesis 1: 24 & 25). He grouped the creation of body systems and  created animals and plants by species.
  • enlist the help of others
    • God said “let us”
    • angels were enlisted – the morning stars shouted for joy at the Creation – Job 38: 7
  • take breaks – God did all creation work between sunrise to sunset and not 24 hours.
How to rest

Spiritual rest

  • fellowship with God, worship, read and listen to the scriptures
  • learn the scriptures which will then enlighten our lives and guide us into rest – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119: 105).
  • meditate on the Word of God – One of the Hebrew words show that meditate means to speak, utter,  mutter, study the Word of God.
  • believe and apply the Word of God because this is the key to entering into the rest of God (Hebrews 4). The Jews who rebelled against the command to enter into Canaan or Rest, died in the wilderness. God prevented them from enjoying His Rest. In the same way, believers living in every era of time must believe and apply what God says about finances, health, morals, relationships, justice and other issues in order to enjoy the Rest of God.
  • Prayer brings rest – God reveals His will or desire when the believer prays. That knowledge of the will of the Father brings relief or rest from anxiety, so that is becomes easier to accept the will or rest of God:

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray (Matthew 14: 32).

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God

And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles (Luke 6: 12 & 13)

Jesus set the example by setting time aside to pray, even in the earliest hours of the day. It is through prayer that the heavens are opened, spiritual transformation takes place and the love of the Father is affirmed. This is a state of spiritual rest:

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed (Mark 1: 35).

And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering  (Luke 9: 28 & 29)

Physical rest

Jesus set the example in His ministry

  • He escaped from the crowds when the ministry became too demanding and exhausting:

when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone (Matthew 14: 23)

  • Lord Jesus spent time with friends and took time off for social events – e.g. dinners, weddings

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat… (Mark 14: 3)

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there

And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage (John 2: 1 & 2)

  • the Jews had a day of preparation for the sabbath so they were free from cooking and labor

There is a rest for the people of God

Jesus promised that He would give rest to those who come to Him (Matthew 11: 28).  He wants to relieve us from heavy burdens. The only way is to believe and apply the Word. For example, freedom from frustration comes by giving thanks in everything:

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5: 18)

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus

I pray that we will apply the Word of God and enjoy His rest and peace.

How I got the revelation about the link between the Feast of Tabernacles and the  Garden of Eden

On Monday 28th September, 2015, Archangel Michael taught me about the Principle of Rest which I will write about later. It was Day 1 of the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot 1. As I meditated on the Rest of God, I began to think about how God, in His loving-kindness, gave many days and years of rest or sabbaths to the Earth.  I believe that God instituted His Feasts in order to give the human race periods of rejuvenating rest and fellowship.

The Feast of Tabernacles is God’s way of calling us back to Eden where our fore parents loved God and enjoyed the reward of eternal life before they rebelled.

Since the Feast of Tabernacles is not celebrated in the West, I am not able to observe its rest fully. However, I wondered where I would find branches to make a booth and where I would erect this booth. As I wondered, I got a flashback of my sister Karen saying that she had to recommence her walks in the Botanical Gardens. I immediately saw the tall, canopy like trees in the spirit and heard the words ‘Garden of Eden.”

The revelation is that the Feast of Tabernacles is a memorial of the Garden of Eden where the trees were tall and arranged into canopies or booths and where humans lived in joy and peace

Features of the trees of the Garden of Eden transposed to the Feast of Tabernacles

I’ve written extensively about the The Garden of Eden on this blog. The Hebrew word gan shows the following descriptions of Eden:

  • the  trees were beautiful and edible (Genesis 2: 9)
  • the tree of life also in the midst of the garden
  • It was well watered (Genesis 2: 10; Isaiah 58: 11).
  • the trees had a “multitude of branches” (Ezekiel 31: 9).
  • Its trees were glorious and great (Ezekiel 31: 18).
  • herbs and spices grew there (Deuteronomy 11: 10; 1 Kings 21: 2)
  • It was the King’s Garden and referred to in scripture as the Garden of the Lord, as is Israel (Genesis 2: 8; Ezekiel 28: 13).
  • three types of  trees are cited in relation to Eden – cedars … fir trees … chestnut trees (Ezekiel 31: 8).
  • Ezekiel 31 reveals by comparison that the trees of Eden were tall, with thick boughs, a haven for birds

The variety of the trees of Eden are illustrated in the booths in which the Jews dwell during the feast. Archangel Michael told me that the nation of Israel figuratively resembled a Garden during the celebration of Tabernacles. With the Tree of Life located in the center of the Garden of Eden, there is a Tree of Life called Jesus available to all who would feast on His Words during the Feast.

The poor booths of Sukkot cannot compare:

And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth (Genesis 33: 17).

Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths

That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 23: 42 & 43).

And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month (Nehemiah 8: 14).

Structure of the booths

The booths were made of trees whose deeper symbolism that could be derived from examination of the Hebrew word:

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days (Leviticus 23: 40).

And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying,Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written (Nehemiah 8: 15).

For example, the palm tree flourishes and is associated with the blessings of righteousness (Exodus 15: 27; Psalm 92: 12).   Cities of palm trees were mentioned four times in scripture and speak of righteous nations which are exalted rather than cursed by the Lord who loves righteousness (Psalm 11: 7).

Willows grow next to water and represent the tree planted by the rivers of water, fruitfulness, evergreen and prosperity (Psalm 1: 3). They speak also of the individual who is well watered by the Word of God and who is in dwelt by the Living Water of The Spirit  of God.

The houses of Eden were nestled among the trees and show us how cities should be built.

Parallels between the joy of Eden and that of Sukkot

The Creator loves joy and gladness. According to Isaiah 51: 3, the Garden was a place of joy, gladness, thanksgiving, and singing. This is the reason for the joy and feasting that are key features of the Feast of Tabernacles:

For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days (Leviticus 23: 40).

The rest of God in the Garden of Eden revisited in Sukkot

a. The timing of the Feast of Tabernacle parallels the 7th Day of Rest

Archangel Michael told me, “with tongue in cheek, God matched the timing of the Feast of Tabernacles with the 7th Day of Rest.”  It is celebrated during month 7 and not month 1 or 3.  In fact, rest is so important to God that He emphasized it FOUR times in Genesis:

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made (Genesis 2: 2 & 3).

Six days thou shalt work, H5647 but on the seventh day thou shalt rest (Exodus 34: 21)

The  Creator reveals that He ends work and sets aside time to rest. He also gave us the same blessing and we will prosper if we obey. Archangel Michael also told me that rest from labor also applies to people working in full and part-time ministry.  Under the law, the priests ministered in the temple for one month of the year. Overworked and addicted ministers need to make that consideration, since “…the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!” (2 Corinthians 3: 11).

b. Rest from Labor is embedded into the Feast of Tabernacles and all of God’s Feasts

God enjoys and prefers rest and amplifies it during all of the feasts. In the day of Moses, Israel enjoyed 10 official days of rest during the Feast of Tabernacles in addition to the regular sabbaths that were celebrated on Saturdays.  Apostle Paul declared that there is a rest for the people of God and that we enter in by believing the Word (Hebrews 4).

c. Tabernacles point us back to the stress free lifestyle of Eden

Lebanon Cedar

It seems to me that God uses the Feast of Sukkot to point a way back to a renewal of the agricultural system of Eden, when there were no weeds and pesticides. The Creator also takes the opportunity to remind humans about the basic requirement and principles for stress-free living.

In Eden, Adam and Eve were expected to dress (`abad) or till (`abad) the ground.  They were horticulturists and did not sweat, spending part of their days manicuring trees and keeping them in shape.

They lived stress free because there were no weeds, thorns and thistles. Additionally,  earth was irrigated by a mist that arose from its surface, so that the soil was extremely malleable. This system existed up to 1654 when rain fell from the sky for the first time, after which clouds needed vapor from the earth:

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till H5647 the ground (Genesis 2: 5).

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress H5647 it and to keep it (Genesis 2: 15).

Humans began to labor after they rebelled against God and were banished from Eden

Severely aggravated by Adam and Eve’s disobedience to His instructions and submission to satan, God pronounced a sentence in which they would till (`abad) by the sweat of their brow. They would also contend with thorns and thistles which would aggravate them:

… cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread… (Genesis 3: 17 – 19).

Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till H5647 the ground from whence he was taken (Genesis 3: 23)

In spite of this sentence, the earth was still extremely productive. In 2668, thereabouts, two men were forced to carry one bunch of grapes on their shoulders due to the extreme size and weight:

Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole … (Numbers 13: 23)

However, as time passed, tilling or dressing the ground became more severe and the earth itself became resistant in places where rain refused to fall. After the expulsion from Eden, tilling or dressing the ground was associated with:

  • painful,  hard labor due to thorns and thistles and the effects of the sun – Genesis  3: 17 – 19
  • resistance of the earth to humans, as in the case of Cain  – Genesis 4: 12
  • bondage to work for or serve another – Genesis 4: 12; 14: 4

Can we escape from the bondage of labour? Yes. God has information that He will reveal to those who seek His knowledge. Contrarily, armed with demonic knowledge, humans:

  • place each other in bondage of all kinds
  • add pesticides, harmful toxins and genes to food
  • war and fight with each other
  • pollute the environment with resulting climate changes
  • to name a few

There will be rest for those who believe the Word of God and seek His way of doing things. Who will believe and respond? The Feast of Tabernacles points us to God’s plan for:

  • green spaces on the planet
  • stress – free living
  • joy and gladness
  • rest
  • celebrations
  • Jesus the Tabernacle of God who dwelt with us
  • Eternal life

Angelic blessings and happy Sukkot from Father God.

The Day of  Atonement

Today we will focus on the symbolism revealed in  The Day of Atonement as we continue to discuss Tishri, the seventh Jewish month.  According to the law, the Day of Atonement was to be observed on Day 10 of month 7. It was a day of rest, convocation and affliction of the soul.

Modern Jews observe Ten Days of Atonement:

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD (Leviticus 23: 27)

And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God (Leviticus 23: 28)

What is atonement?

Kippur (H3725), the Jewish word for atonement, occurs 8 times in 8 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the King James Version of the Bible. The direct usage shows reveals elements of an atonement under the law:

  • offering for sin
  • animal sacrifice
  • shedding of animal blood
  • cleansing with blood
  • anointing after the cleansing
  • sanctification after the cleansing
  • atonement money – Exodus 30: 15 & 16)
  • recompense to the Lord

Further understanding of the atonement by the root word

However, I had to examine kaphar  (H3722) in order to fully understand the doctrine of atonement. God commanded Israel to make atonement with animal sacrifices and financial gifts or offerings in order to:

  • pitch or cover over sin (Genesis 6: 14)
  • appease God (Genesis 32: 20)
  • receive forgiveness and pardon of sins (Leviticus 4: 20, 26, 31 & 35)
  • be consecrated and sanctified or set apart as holy to God  (Exodus 29: 33 & 36)
  • purge sin (1 Samuel 3: 14).
  • receive pardon from God (2 Chronicles 30: 18)
  • to pacify God (Proverbs 16: 14)
  • receive mercy and forgiveness from God (Deuteronomy 212: 8)

Be merciful, H3722 O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven H3722 them

  • to disannul  sin

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, H3722 and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it (Isaiah 28: 18)

The mediator of the atonement

A human priest was the mediator of the atonement, standing between God and the people, and presenting their sin offerings to the Heavenly Father. If the offering was pleasing to God, a reconciliation would be made

the priest shall make an atonement H3722 for her, and she shall be clean (Leviticus 12: 8)

And the priest shall make an atonement H3722 for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein (Leviticus 6: 7)

And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation H3722 upon it (Leviticus 8: 15)

And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement H3722 for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary (Numbers 8: 19)

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement H3722 for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun (Numbers 16: 46)

What happened on the Day of Atonement?

On this yearly event, the High Priest was commanded to enter into the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle in order to seek pardon for his sins and those of his household and the nation (Leviticus 16).

Requirements:

  • special robes
  • a young bull as a sin offering, and of a ram as a burnt offering.
  • two goats for a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering on behalf of the nation
  • fire
  • sweet incense

The procedure

The High Priest would first offer the bull as a sacrifice for his sins and that of his household.

He would then take two goats for a sin offering and present them to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle. He would cast lots over the two goats and offer the Lord’s goat as a sacrifice and let go the other one, or scapegoat, into the wilderness.

He would then enter behind the veil of the Holy of Holies carrying incense and a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar.

Once inside, he would put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy-seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die.

He first offered an atonement for his and his family’s sins by taking some of the blood of the bull and sprinkling it  on the east of the mercy-seat. He then sprinkled the blood seven times at the front of the mercy-seat.

The High Priest would then kill the goat of the sin offering. He would take the blood into the Holy of Holies via the veil and repeat the procedure on behalf of the sins of the nation.

The High Priest then went out to the altar that is before the LORD, and made an atonement for it by sprinkling some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat. He also put blood on the horns of the altar as an atonement.

The High Priest then laid both his hands on the head of the live goat and confessed over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions and sins,  putting them on the head of the goat. He then sent it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

The bullock and the goat slain as sin offerings were burnt outside the camp.

How the Day of Atonement is a picture of Christ

The blood of the atonement – there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. A life must be given for a life. Jesus shed His blood on the Cross and gave Himself as a substitute for the sins of the world. God then cleanses the spirit of those who seek pardon and forgives them from all unrighteousness

.

The tabernacle – represents the Holy Tabernacle in heaven, not made with hands.  There is a Holy of Holies in that tabernacle into which Jesus entered after His resurrection and laid down His blood as an offering for the sins of the world:

Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens

a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man

For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One also have something to offer (Hebrews 8: 1 – 3)

Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people (Hebrews 8: 8 – 10)

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second

But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance

the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing…

But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9)

The High Priest – Jesus is the sinless High Priest who offered Himself once for the sins of world. He laid down His blood on the altar of heaven. The earthly Jewish high priests were subject to possible judgment and death if they were displeasing to God. They had to wear bells on the hem of his garments in the event that they died in the Holy Place:

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens

who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself

who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself

For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever (Hebrews 7: 25 – 28)

Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us (Hebrews 9: 23 & 24)

The sacrifices – the blood of bulls and goats cannot become an eternal substitute for sins. Jesus came to fulfill the law and His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness as we read in the previous texts.

The incense – represents the prayers and sweet smelling savor of the believer’s life (Revelation 8: 4).

The sprinkling with blood

Represents the sprinkling with the blood for spiritual purging and cleansing. The picture that comes to mind is the sprinkling that the priests did with hyssop:

God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and His Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1: 2)

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1: 7)

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood (Revelation 1: 5).

The scapegoat and the sin sacrifices – Jesus is sacrifice who took punishment for our sins. The scapegoats are those who escape when they believe in Him for salvation and confess that with their mouths. He was crucified outside the camp at Golgotha for the sins of the planet:

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate (Hebrews 13: 11 & 12)

And he is the propitiation (atonement) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2: 2)

Fasting and the High Priestly Ministry of Christ (for the Jews especially)

What is the Feast of Tabernacles?

The Feast of Tabernacles is a  Feast of the Lord. He commanded the Jews to celebrate it as follows:

  • in the seventh month
  • it was celebrated for 7 days
  • began on Day 15
  • Ended on Day 22
  • The Jews were to dwell in booths as a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt
  • Males were to appear before the Lord with an offering
  • At the end of every 7 year period, there was a release of debts DURING the Feast of Tabernacles

And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field (Exodus 23: 16)

And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end (Exodus 34: 22)

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD (Leviticus 23: 34)

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath (Leviticus 23: 39)

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine (Deuteronomy 16: 13)

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty (Deuteronomy 16: 16).

The  Feast of Tabernacles is for ALL nations and not just the Jews

The prophecies of scriptures show that God revealed His feasts to the earth through the Jewish nation. These feasts were celebrated by Adam and early ancestors of the human race, but were forgotten as nations rebelled against God and served satan.

God intended all of His feasts to be times of rest, restoration, forgiveness, peace and joy. All nations are required to celebrate them and will experience distress when they refuse. Drought is one outcome of failing to keep the  Feast of the Tabernacles:

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles H5521

And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles (Zechariah 14: 16 – 19).

2015 Calendar of the Feast of Tabernacles

This year two of my siblings and a sister in the faith decided to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles as people of faith in Christ. We believe that the Feast has prophetic meaning and that we are to look to Christ the Great High Priest.

Feast of Tabernacles Calendar

Glossary for easy understanding of the Feast of Tabernacles

Tishri – September/October

  • This is the 7th month on the religious calendar
  • and 1st month of the civil new year.
  • From my understanding of Scripture, Nisan or April should be the first month of the New Year, whether religious or civil. When Nisan is kept as the New Year, the Jews will be able to clearly see Messiah in all of the feasts.

The Jews of Bible times celebrated April as month 1

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you (Exodus 12: 2)

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles H5521 for seven days unto the LORD (Leviticus 23: 24)

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles H5521 (Deuteronomy 31: 10)

And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths H5521 in the feast of the seventh month (Nehemiah 8: 14)

Debt forgiveness or Release was celebrated during the Feast of Tabernacles
  • The Shemitah was a sabbatical year during which no agricultural work  was to be done. The nation focused on rest and spiritual renewal.
  • All outstanding debts between Jewish lenders and borrowers were to be remitted or released at the end of the Year during the Feast of Tabernacles.
  • It was a year of blessing, rest, restoration and jubilation.
  • Debt forgiveness or remittance was a foreshadow of the forgiveness of the sins of the nation on Day 10 and a foreshadow of Christ who forgives our sins.
  • Modern day Jews celebrate debt forgiveness at the end of the sixth month (August-September)
  • This was Elul 29th 2015 or September 13th 2015
  • The Year began September  25, 2014 and ran through Sept. 13, 2015.
  • The purpose of debt forgiveness is to model the forgiveness of God which we gain when we forgive others (Matthew 6: 12)
  • One ancient Jewish writing says that Adam sinned in Tishri, hence the reason for the Atonement at this time.

Rosh Hashanah

  • Jewish New Year (civil new year)
  • 1st day of the 7th month
  • September 14 & 15, 2015
  • Blowing of the Trumpets
  • A Convocation was held
  • According to chabad.org, Ten Days of Repentance or Shabbat Shuvah, are entered into between  Rosh Hashanah  (New Year) and ending on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).
  • On September 14th, 2015, I met with two of my siblings and a sister in the faith to study the prophetic meaning of the Trumpets in the scriptures (I will add the notes later).

Yom Kippur – Day 10

  • Day of Atonement –
  • A  convocation was held in Moses’ era
  • It will be celebrated on Wednesday September 23rd, 2015
  • The Jewish High Priest went into the Holiest of Holies to make atonement for the sins of the nation
  • Modern Jews observe 10 days of Repentance from Tishri 1 to 10 (chabad.org)
  • Jesus is the Great High Priest:
    • Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3: 1)
    • Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession (Hebrews 4: 14)
    • But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building (Hebrews 9: 11).

The Year of Jubile was also intertwined with the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 25)

  • It was celebrated every 50th Year and was a year in which there was rest and a return of all possessions that had been lost to creditors.
  • It was a Year of Liberty
  • The Jubile was announced on the Day of Atonement of the preceding or 49th Year
  • Trumpets were blown in anticipation (Leviticus 25: 9)
  • Chabad.org claims that the Jubile was to be only celebrated when all tribes are living in Israel
  • However. I recommend that the Jubile should be celebrated based on Zechariah’s reelation that the Feasts of the Lord and His Rests are for all nations.
  • Therefore, counting from 50Ad, I saw that a Jubilee should have been celebrated in the Year 2000.
  • A Shemitah was celebrated in 2001.
  • Failing the observances of debt forgiveness and return of inheritances, is this the reason why the new millenium 2000 has been marked with such distresses in the earth?

Jesus is the Jubile or Liberator of His People the Jews and all nations

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

To preach the acceptable Year of the Lord (Luke 4: 16 – 19)

Sukkot – Sukkot or Succot

  • Feast of Booths or Feast of Ingathering
  • Days 15 – 22
  • September 23rd to October 4th
  • Celebrated 7 days
  • Seven days of feasting and rejoicing to the Lord
  • sacrifices, offerings and dwelling in booths
  • a memorial
  • Sabbath or Convocation on Tishri 16 or September 28th – a sabbath
  • Sabbath on Tishri 22 or October 4th
  • The nation of Israel were commanded to publicly read the scriptures at the end of every 7 years. You see why nations that remove the scriptures from public places become lawless as there is no conviction for sins:

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles

When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing

Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law

And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it (Deuteronomy 31: 10 – 13)

The Sabbaths or days of rest during the Feast of Sukkot

The Jews were commanded to rest on the first day of the Feast of Sukkot (Tishri 15 or September 28th, 2015) and on the eight day (or Tishri 22 or October 5th 2015).:

Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the LORD for seven days; on the first day there shall be a sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a sabbath-rest.

“Remember that this seven-day festival to the LORD—the Festival of Shelters—begins on the fifteenth day of the appointed month,fn after you have harvested all the produce of the land. The first day and the eighth day of the festival will be days of complete rest  (Leviticus 23: 39).

The Convocations

  • Four convocations were held in Moses’ era
  • Days 1, 10, 15 and 22
  • rest from labor
  • giving of offerings
  • reading and interpretation of the scriptures

…The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days

And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month

Review

In the previous post I wrote about The Bull Of The European Union showing the link between the demon Zeus and the European Union.

Zeus in Greek mythology

According to Greek mythology, Zeus was born in Crete and was the chief of their gods aka demons.  Satan revealed himself to the  Greeks as

Zeus, the presiding deity of the universe, ruler of the skies and the earth…the god of all natural phenomena on the sky; the personification of the laws of nature; the ruler of the state; and … the father of gods and men.

Using his shield, the Aegis, Zeus could create all natural phenomena related to the air and the sky, such as storms, tempests, and intense darkness. At his command, mighty thunders would flash and lightnings would roll, wreaking havoc; or the skies would open to rejuvenate the earth with life-giving water.

As the personification of the operations of nature, he represented the grand laws of unchanging and harmonious order, by which both the natural and the spiritual world were governed. He was the god of regulated time as marked by the changing seasons and the regular succession of day and night, in contrast to what his father Cronus represented before him; absolute time, i.e. eternity(Greek Mythology.com)

The  Greeks also believed that Zeus overthrew his father, Cronus,  then drew lots with his brothers Poseidon  and Hades in order to decide who would succeed their father on the throne.  Zeus won the draw and became the supreme ruler of the gods, sic demons, as well as lord of the sky and rain (Greek Mythology.com).

The myth further stated that Poseidon was god/demon of the sea and protector of all aquatic features. He carried a trident, while Hades carried a pitchfork, both symbols being associated with witchcraft.

Greek myth about Zeus exposed by the Holy Scriptures

However, the Holy Scriptures of the True and Living God reveal that:

  •  Zeus is aka satan, the  Prince of the Power of the Air  (Ephesians 2: 2), who rebelled against his Creator and Father and who was thrown out of heaven.
  • Thus the demon lied to humans about his status as ruler of  all things (Ezekiel 28  and  Satan)
  • Hades or death accompanies Zeus, hence the reasons for the downfall of nations under his rule.
  • Jesus revealed to us that demons exert greater authority over humans when they form conglomerates, with the chief demon working with seven other demons that are more wicked than himself (Matthew 12: 45; Luke 11: 26).

Historically, the Greeks established altars, shrines and temples dedicated to the worship of these devils. Acts 17 gives a typical example.

Crete as a stronghold for demonic influences in the planet – its importance to satan

When the myth is examined in light of the scriptures, we see that Crete was a stronghold for the demon called Zeus, the place of power from which it ruled. Since Zeus was brought up on Crete according to the myth, we see that the island became a source for the penetration of demonic doctrines into Greece.

Crete is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean and the largest of the islands forming part of modern Greece.  In ancient times, however, Crete was the home of the Minoan civilization, which was centered at Knossós and reached its peak in the 16th century BCE.  Although relatively small in size,  the island  played an important role in the revival of Greek civilization that began in the 9th century BCE. By the fifth century BCE, the Greeks were influenced by its  myths, legends, and laws (Bowman, 2015).

Under the influence of Alexander the Great, who founded the Greek Empire in the third century BCE  (330 BC – 63 BC),  the then world was  hellenized the world with the influence of Greek religion and culture (with emphasis on the syllable hell). A little yeast was therefore used to leaven the whole lump of nations with satanic influences.

The Greek Empire was the third great world Empire after that of the Babylonians.  God used dreams to reveal its rise to King Nebuchadnezzar in 604 BC (the second year of his reign) and to Prophet Daniel in 553 BC, (the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar).

King Nebuchadnezzar saw the Empire as a part of an image in which it represented the belly and thighs of brass; while Daniel saw the Empire represented as a rough goat. How humorous is that!

I am rather amused that while God sees Zeus as a rough goat, the demon compared itself to a bull, which was offered to God in sacrifices in Jewish worship. Think of the self deception of the kingdom of satan. Think of God’s intent for that devil – it will be and was destroyed by the Kingdom of Christ.

That rough goat was the demonic stronghold which overtook the Median – Persian Empire. Although it was swift, overpowering and furious, its reign fizzed out after 267 years, third in duration in comparison to the other two Empires of the era.  Alexander the Great was described as having a very furious temper which intensified in long warfare, showing that he took on the rough personality of the demon.

Greece needs to pay attention to a significant event related to the death of Alexander. The brilliant King died rather ignominiously  after several days of drinking binges. He had recently declared that he was a god and was being celebrated as one.  In other words, Greece will perish when it celebrates its gods.

Europa, Greek Euro coins and economic decline in Greece

Greece joined the EU in 2000 against the better judgment of the Union due to its many problems. Wallop, 2010 described the dismal financial state of the nation at the time of its entry into the European Union (EU). According to Archangel Michael, the EU inherited a colossal headache when Greece joined since the nation:

  • possessed colossal debts  and out of control inflation.
  • was borrowing money to fund wages rather than reinvesting for economic growth.
  • had increased  public sector workers’ wages to nearly double over the last decade, while continuing to fund one of the most generous pension systems in the world.
  • experienced declining Government tax revenues due to tax evasion among the wealthy middle classes.

While Greece flounders economically, their god remains silent as citizens either protest, demonstrate in the streets or lose hope.

Rahn (2014) cited elements of Greek’s economic collapse:

  • Nominal gross domestic product was  about 28 percent lower than it was in 2000.
  • The official unemployment rate is 27.5 percent (as though the decimal point matters, given the poor quality of the data).
  • The unemployment rate for young people is about 60 percent.
  • increase in nonperforming loans.
  • 2.3 million households (82% of the population) owe debts to the Tax Office that they cannot service.
  • One-million households cannot pay their electricity bill in full.
  • 1.3 million people (43%) in the labor force are jobless.
  • gross mismanagement and policy incompetence by Government.

Greek economic decline follows a SEVEN YEAR CYCLE beginning in 2009

Greek economy began to decline in 2009, SEVEN years after it possibly issued its first EURO coins in 2002. Therefore, this seven year cycle means that Greece is in a Shemitah.  The year two thousand and fifteen (2015) marks the sixth year of a second seven year cycle which began in 2009. In God’s economic calendar, the sixth year would be one in which the land would produce enough to last for three years since the seventh year would be a Shemitah.

Greece is actually following the Seven Year cycle established by God since September 2015 would mark the beginning of another Shemitah. This tells us that the nation is under a curse and not a blessing since they ascribe their financial success to a demon whose purpose is to steal, kill and destroy.

God promised nations through Israel that curses would come on those who chose death rather than His way of life (Deuteronomy 28).

The root of the curse on Greece

As I read the literature, I was shocked to note that Greek Euro €1 and €2 coins bear images of the idols which Greece has historically worshiped. The euro came into existence on 1 January 1999, but became widely circulated in 2002. Folowing the pattern of Alexander who ended his mortal life by becoming a god, Greece entered into economic decline in 2009 because they gave glory to satan and not to their Creator in heaven, the Father of all spirits.

Greek euro currency which celebrates satan

The €1 and €2  coins depict a scene from a mosaic in Sparta (third century AD), showing Europa being abducted by the demon Zeus, who took the form of a bull. The lettering on the edge of the €2 coin bear the words EΛΛHNIKH ΔHMOKPATIA  or  Hellenic Republic.

Source: European Central Bank, 2015

What is the importance of currency?

According the European Union,

Currencies are the means by which wealth is stored, protected and exchanged between countries, organisations and individuals. A global currency, such as the euro, does this on a global scale. Since its introduction in 1999, it has firmly established itself as a major international currency, second only to the US dollar (European Commission, 2015).

Can the Greek economy recover?

Archangel Michael asked me this question on Saturday 5th September, 2015 @ 4. 51 p.m. EST as I wrote this post. He answered the question with the response, “the answer is yes, the answers are in scriptures – Deuteronomy 28.” These are the blessings promised by the Father to nations and people who would worship God rather than devils.

Background of the European Union

I would like to thank my brother Lyndon Moss for being the catalyst for this article.

The European Union was formed in 1945 by five visionaries, one of whom was Winston Churchill, then Prime Minister of Britain. The Treaty on European Union or Maastricht Treaty, signed on November 1st 1993, formalized the nature of the modern political and economic integration between European countries and included policies related to the members’ economies, societies, laws and security (Wilde, 2015).

The Union currently consists of 500,000 people; 28 countries; 24 official languages; a European Parliment; European Court of Justice; European Central Bank; a single currency called the Euro; freedom of movement; a single market and more (Europa.com).

The official symbols include Europe Day  which is celebrated on May 9th and the European Flag which  is represented by:

ALT=

Symbols of the European Union

  • a circle of TWELVE (12) gold stars on a blue background.
  • which represent unity, solidarity and harmony among the Europeans.
  • The Union states that the number of stars is not relevant to the number of countries, but does not give their meaning.

Stars in the Holy Scriptures refer to the multitudes of  Abraham’s descendants

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Revelation 12: 1).

The myth that is associated with the European Union

According to Greek mythology, the Phoenician maiden named ‘Europa’ was one of the many objects of affection ALT=of Olympian chief god aka demon Zeus. The god aka demon became infatuated with Europa’s striking beauty and grace and devised a cunning plan to trap her.

Zeus metamorphosed in a beautiful white bull in order to trap Europa and to avoid the anger of his jealous wife Hera.  The demon appeared to Europa as she gathered flowers. Fascinated by its handsome flanks and gentle behavior, she caressed the bull and got onto his back. Zeus abducted her and swam to the island of Crete where he revealed his true identity, raped and impregnated her. Europa gave birth to Minos, who would become king of Crete (The New Federalist).

We see therefore that the demon is associated with adultery, lust, unscrupulous behavior, human conquest, forced sexual encounters, infidelity, abduction, deception, witchcraft, and bestiality

The New Federalist  admits that while the European Union has not officially identified Europa and the bull as a symbol,  it is frequently teamed with that myth. Futhermore, as a result of the frequent association of the continent and the modern European Union with that myth,  Europa and the Bull can be considered as a “semi-official symbol or supranational personification of the European region.”

However, I observe that the Europeans deliberately associate with and celebrate the myth by naming their official website Europa, essentially indicating that the demon called Zeus controls the nations in the union. Additionally, images to Europa and the demon are erected in many public places in European nations.

The origin of the myth is revealed in the Biblical truth

All of these myths in human tradition have origin in truth, although the original truth was lost and distilled through eras of time. The truth about this myth is revealed in Genesis 6 where God revealed that fallen angels saw  the fallen angels forcibly married humans that THEY CHOSE. In other words, they preyed on humans:

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose

The sons of God saw the beautiful women and took any they wanted as their wives –  Genesis 6: 2.

The giants or the Nephilim resulted from these unions.  Through them the earth became exceedingly anti – God, corrupt, wicked and violent. They were the reason that God destroyed the first earth in the flood of Noah’s day:

As I wrote, Archangel Michael told me that these giants are the gargoyles.

Did the bull of Europe appear in ancient times?

One of the patterns that I observed in human history is that demons appeared in different cultures with different names. However, the demon is known by its activity, as we saw in the case of Asherah. Therefore, curious as ever, I went to the scriptures to see if  ancient humans worshiped idols or demons represented by bulls. I found that  Bull in the bible is also used to mean ox, bullock, cow, bull. My  search revealed that the European bull was worshipped by ancient people as revealed in the backsliding of Israel at Mount Sinai.

The children of Israel had forgotten God during the 430 years of slavery and had learnt to worship the demons of Egypt. This is the reason why they had remained enslaved for so long.  After escaping from Egypt, they arrived at the Mount Sinai where God revealed the way of life or Law to them through His Apostle Moses.

Once, Moses went uo into the mountain and stayed forty days, leaving Aaron in charge. Thinking that Moses would never return from his excursion with God, the people persuaded Aaron, the priest, to make gods which they would worship. Essentially, they wanted the physical representation of a demon which they would bow down to in worship.  Heeding their request, Aaron asked for gold and made a golden calf, declaring that this was now their god. God went crazy:

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” – Exodus 32: 1.

And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!” – Exodus 32: 4.

They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image – Psalm 106: 19.

The worship of this demon was accompanied by singing, dancing and naked sexual orgies as revealed in the scriptures (Exodus 32). The sin was so abhorent that God instantly commanded a plague in which thousands died. The Father subsequently planned to exterminate the entire Jewish race, but changed His mind as a result of Moses’ intercession for mercy:

And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, H5695 which Aaron made – Exodus 32: 35

Parallels of the half human – half animal demon called Europa as revealed in the Holy Scriptures

Representation of the modern  European Union

As I pondered on the physical representation of Europa, I was shown that the images throughout time actually represent a half human – half animal creature.  Warning us not to worship demons, scriptures reveal that ancient people worshipped demons that were represented by half human – half animal. This would again point back to the Genesis 6 account.

For example, Dagon, a demon worshiped by the Philistines, was depicted with the upper body of  a human and torso of a fish. This represented demonic possession and control of the mind and actions of those under its authority.  Dagon appeared in Holy Scriptures in the account of the Philistines who had captured the Ark of God and had the temerity to place it in the temple of Dagon their god.  On the first day, Dagon fell on his face where he belonged. On the second day, the Philistines found:

…  Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it – 1 Samuel 5: 4.

God sends a message, just as He did in Egypt, that all demonic strongholds will bow to His authority and to that of His Church.

Addiitonally, while not directly related, scriptures reveal that demonic strongholds over nations are represented as aggressive and violent animals or beasts. Moreover, Empires that serve demons experience collosal collapse in every dimension – socially, economically and financially. This is because sin brings a reproach. History leaves a trail of evidence, take it or leave it and the European Union is currently shaken as a result of the failure to fear the Creator who is the True and Living God:

  • lion – British Empire
  • leopard – Democratic Republic of Congo
Meaning of the myth and its symbols to the European Union

After coming to knowledge of the truth, I ask why on earth would a league of 28 nations deliberately associate with the myth, even to the point of placing related images in public places in countries such as Brussels and others.

I believe that the European Union will be able to twin the timing of its current crises with the deliberate identification with the beast called Zeus

The New Federalist  also asks:

How can a tale of a Phoenician woman, unwillingly abducted and sexually assaulted by a rutting, unscrupulous deity be used as a symbol for a unique project of peace, prosperity and freedom in human history, being the voluntary integration of different nations into the European Union? To answer these questions one must take some creative thinking and room for interpretation into account.

The Psalmist responds in Chapter 2.

Europe must rule rather than serve the beast

Archangel Michael’s question about the Passover

It was Saturday 28th March 2015 about 5, 15 am thereabouts when I heard Archangel Michael ask, “when was the Passover?”

Jesus shed His blood on the Cross once for our sins in 33 AD, therefore making His Passover, the New Covenant by His blood 1982 years ago. There is a hidden code in the numbers

One 1 – Day 1 of  Creation.

Eight  – 8 represents beginning of a new week

Sunday

  • First – Alpha
  • One means beginning or new beginning.
  • The earth was without form and void and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. God said, “let there be light, and there was light.”
  • Spiritually speaking, Jesus is the Light of the World.
  • His death marked the beginning of the New Covenant for the salvation of all nations, not just Jewish people.
  • In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He made all things.

Nine – 9 – represents Day 2 of Creation

Two – the second day of Creation

Monday

  • Creation of  Heaven
  • I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help
  • The Heaven is His throne, earth is His footstool

1 and 2

  • He was in the grave but rose on the 3rd day
  • He went down into hell but rose on the third day

Blessings.

31/3/15 –

  • Archangel Michael asks me for the meaning of the pattern 1, 2, 1, 2 in 1982.
  • 1982   (Wikipedia.org).

1. God counted time in Creation in isolation of the New or Full Moon

God showed us the pattern for counting time in Genesis 1.  He began at Day 1 and counted days which would add up to weeks, months and years. We know that because the forefathers counted time after the same pattern.

God did not count time by either a solar or lunar system. In other words, Father God did not link the passage of time to seasons. Days were counted from sunrise to sunrise, months were counted from day to day.

Since years began on Sunday January 1st and ended on December 30th, there were 364 days in a year with no leap years

How Old Is The Earth?

God created the sun, moon and stars on Day 4 of Creation and continued to measure time after the pattern established on Days 1, 2 and 3 of creation.

I believe that the Feasts were linked to the Moon  because people did not have much artificial light and needed that celebratory feeling. They needed to move about and would have needed light for visibility.

2. Chodesh is the Hebrew word for New Moon

After examining the usage of chodesh (H2320), the Hebrew word for New Moon, I saw that God used the appearance of a New Moon to mark significant events. However, while New Moons appeared at different times in the month, God did not change His pattern for measuring  time.

In other words, God did not alter His time schedule to match the appearance of the New Moon. This was particularly evident in the record of Noah’s flood which was given to us by God since Noah could not see outside of the Ark.

3. The timing of the New Moons between 1656 – 1657 did not change God’s pattern for counting time – God did not link time to His lunar calendar:

New Moon – February 17th, 1656

Noah is 600 years and 2 months old. He was locked in the Ark and could not see the moon. This record is given by God:

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, H2320 the seventeenth day of the month, H2320 the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened – Genesis 7: 11

Genesis further told us that Noah celebrated his 601st birthday on January 1st and reinforced that February was the 2nd month of his life:

And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry

And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. – Genesis 8: 13 & 14

New moon  – 17th day of July 1656. Noah was in the 600th year of Noah’s life:

And the ark rested in the seventh month, H2320 on the seventeenth day of the month, H2320 upon the mountains of Ararat.

New Moon – 1st October 1656

And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: H2320 in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, H2320 were the tops of the mountains seen – Genesis 8: 5

New Moon – January 1st 1657. Noah celebrated his 601st birthday

And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the monthH2320 the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry – Genesis 8: 13

New Moon – 27th February 1657

And in the second month, H2320 on the seven and twentieth day of the month, H2320 was the earth dried – Genesis 8: 14.

Summary

Significant events occurred with the appearance of five New Moons in the time of Noah’s flood.

We see, for example, that the New Moon in February 1656 and 1657 occured on the 17th and 27th respectively. God did not reverse or stop time to suit these events, but continued with the creation pattern. We are therefore able to construct a calendar that shows that there were 364 days in the year of the flood.

As the human race progressed, the New Moon would become less significant as modern people would use other inventions including electricity as light sources. God caused lunar eclipses to appear to draw human attention to the heavens and to signal and warn about momentous events.

  • February 17th 1656
  • 17th day of July 1656
  • 1st October 1656
  • January 1st 1657
  • 27th February 1657

4. Other patterns in scriptures confirm that God timed events with the Full Moon in order to add natural light as well as a feeling of celebration and joyousness

God timed the first Jewish New Year with the New Moon – Abib/Nisan 1st 2668

God miraculously commanded the New Moon to prolong that first month in order to give light for the activities, to alert the people and to make a way for the Exodus:

This month H2320 shall be unto you the beginning of months: H2320 it shall be the first month H2320 of the year to you – Exodus 12: 2.

This day came ye out in the month H2320 Abib – Exodus 13: 4.

New Moon – 10th Abib/Nisan 2668  – the Jews were to select the Passover Lamb

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month H2320 they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house – Exodus 12: 3

New Moon –  14th Abib/Nisan 2668 – the celebration of the first Passover

And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: H2320 and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening – Exodus 12: 6

The first Feast of Unleavened Bread in 2668 was timed with the New Moon

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month H2320 at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month H2320 at even- Exodus 12: 18

New Moon – 15th Day of May 2668 – this is now the second Jewish month.

And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month H2320 after their departing out of the land of Egypt. – Exodus 16: 1

The scriptures show that Moses commanded the Jews to celebrate the feasts on the same time of month each year, in much the same manner that we celebrate our birthdays. Maybe God miraculously gave them a New Moon:

In the fourteenth day of the first month H2320 at even is the LORD’S passover

And on the fifteenth day of the same month H2320 is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread – Leviticus 23: 5 & 6.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, H2320 in the first day of the month, H2320 shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation – Leviticus 23: 24

The Jews kept the Passover on the exact days on the Second year after the exodus

And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month, H2320 of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying

In the fourteenth day of this monthH2320, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season

And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first monthH2320 at even in the wilderness of Sinai  (Numbers 3: 1, 3 & 5).

5. Chodesh was also used for month in a context that had nothing to do with New Moons, but rather calendar days, confirming that this is a consideration to be made for interpreting the timing of the Feasts

For example:

All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month  H2320 old and upward, were twenty and two thousand

And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month H2320 old and upward, and take the number of their namesNumbers 3: 39 & 40.

And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months. H2320  1 Samuel 27: 7

Blessings.
