What is the Feast of Tabernacles?

The Feast of Tabernacles is a  Feast of the Lord. He commanded the Jews to celebrate it as follows:

• in the seventh month
• it was celebrated for 7 days
• began on Day 15
• Ended on Day 22
• The Jews were to dwell in booths as a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt
• Males were to appear before the Lord with an offering
• At the end of every 7 year period, there was a release of debts DURING the Feast of Tabernacles

And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field (Exodus 23: 16)

And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end (Exodus 34: 22)

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD (Leviticus 23: 34)

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath (Leviticus 23: 39)

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine (Deuteronomy 16: 13)

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty (Deuteronomy 16: 16).

The  Feast of Tabernacles is for ALL nations and not just the Jews

The prophecies of scriptures show that God revealed His feasts to the earth through the Jewish nation. These feasts were celebrated by Adam and early ancestors of the human race, but were forgotten as nations rebelled against God and served satan.

God intended all of His feasts to be times of rest, restoration, forgiveness, peace and joy. All nations are required to celebrate them and will experience distress when they refuse. Drought is one outcome of failing to keep the  Feast of the Tabernacles:

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles ^H5521

And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles (Zechariah 14: 16 – 19).

This year two of my siblings and a sister in the faith decided to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles as people of faith in Christ. We believe that the Feast has prophetic meaning and that we are to look to Christ the Great High Priest.

Glossary for easy understanding of the Feast of Tabernacles

Tishri – September/October

• This is the 7th month on the religious calendar
• and 1st month of the civil new year.
• From my understanding of Scripture, Nisan or April should be the first month of the New Year, whether religious or civil. When Nisan is kept as the New Year, the Jews will be able to clearly see Messiah in all of the feasts.

The Jews of Bible times celebrated April as month 1

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you (Exodus 12: 2)

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles ^H5521 for seven days unto the LORD (Leviticus 23: 24)

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles ^H5521 (Deuteronomy 31: 10)

And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths ^H5521 in the feast of the seventh month (Nehemiah 8: 14)

Debt forgiveness or Release was celebrated during the Feast of Tabernacles

• The Shemitah was a sabbatical year during which no agricultural work  was to be done. The nation focused on rest and spiritual renewal.
• All outstanding debts between Jewish lenders and borrowers were to be remitted or released at the end of the Year during the Feast of Tabernacles.
• It was a year of blessing, rest, restoration and jubilation.
• Debt forgiveness or remittance was a foreshadow of the forgiveness of the sins of the nation on Day 10 and a foreshadow of Christ who forgives our sins.

• Modern day Jews celebrate debt forgiveness at the end of the sixth month (August-September)
  
• This was Elul 29th 2015 or September 13th 2015 
• The Year began September  25, 2014 and ran through Sept. 13, 2015.
• The purpose of debt forgiveness is to model the forgiveness of God which we gain when we forgive others (Matthew 6: 12)
• One ancient Jewish writing says that Adam sinned in Tishri, hence the reason for the Atonement at this time.

Rosh Hashanah

• Jewish New Year (civil new year)
• 1st day of the 7th month
• September 14 & 15, 2015
• Blowing of the Trumpets
• A Convocation was held
• According to chabad.org, Ten Days of Repentance or Shabbat Shuvah, are entered into between  Rosh Hashanah  (New Year) and ending on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).
• On September 14th, 2015, I met with two of my siblings and a sister in the faith to study the prophetic meaning of the Trumpets in the scriptures (I will add the notes later).

Yom Kippur – Day 10

• Day of Atonement –
• A  convocation was held in Moses’ era
  
• It will be celebrated on Wednesday September 23rd, 2015
• The Jewish High Priest went into the Holiest of Holies to make atonement for the sins of the nation
• Modern Jews observe 10 days of Repentance from Tishri 1 to 10 (chabad.org)
• Jesus is the Great High Priest:
  • Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3: 1)
  • Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession (Hebrews 4: 14)
  • But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building (Hebrews 9: 11).

The Year of Jubile was also intertwined with the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 25)

• It was celebrated every 50th Year and was a year in which there was rest and a return of all possessions that had been lost to creditors.
• It was a Year of Liberty
• The Jubile was announced on the Day of Atonement of the preceding or 49th Year
• Trumpets were blown in anticipation (Leviticus 25: 9)
• Chabad.org claims that the Jubile was to be only celebrated when all tribes are living in Israel
• However. I recommend that the Jubile should be celebrated based on Zechariah’s reelation that the Feasts of the Lord and His Rests are for all nations.
• Therefore, counting from 50Ad, I saw that a Jubilee should have been celebrated in the Year 2000.
• A Shemitah was celebrated in 2001.
• Failing the observances of debt forgiveness and return of inheritances, is this the reason why the new millenium 2000 has been marked with such distresses in the earth?

Jesus is the Jubile or Liberator of His People the Jews and all nations

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

To preach the acceptable Year of the Lord (Luke 4: 16 – 19)

• The nation of Israel were commanded to publicly read the scriptures at the end of every 7 years. You see why nations that remove the scriptures from public places become lawless as there is no conviction for sins:

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles

When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing

Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law

And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it (Deuteronomy 31: 10 – 13)

The Sabbaths or days of rest during the Feast of Sukkot

The Jews were commanded to rest on the first day of the Feast of Sukkot (Tishri 15 or September 28th, 2015) and on the eight day (or Tishri 22 or October 5th 2015).:

Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the LORD for seven days; on the first day there shall be a sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a sabbath-rest.

“Remember that this seven-day festival to the LORD—the Festival of Shelters—begins on the fifteenth day of the appointed month,fn after you have harvested all the produce of the land. The first day and the eighth day of the festival will be days of complete rest  (Leviticus 23: 39).

The Convocations

• Four convocations were held in Moses’ era
  
• Days 1, 10, 15 and 22
• rest from labor
• giving of offerings
• reading and interpretation of the scriptures

…The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

Introduction to the New Covenant experience with the Holy Ghost – the filling

I wrote in the previous post about  The Wind Of The Holy Spirit On The Day of Pentecost and would like to continue today with a description of the New Covenant infilling with the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost.  While the infilling received by believers under the Old Covenant was glorious, our beloved Apostle Paul instructs us that:

… the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever! – 2 Corinthians 3: 11.

Let us therefore  examine the infilling that  believers  under the New Covenant had with the blessed Holy Spirit of Christ:

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty – 2 Corinthians 3: 17

The infilling on the Day of Pentecost – understanding the meaning based on relevant comparisons

Pimplēmi  (verb) is the Greek  word used in Acts 2: 4 for FILLED:

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all  filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, ^G4151 and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit ^G4151 gave them utterance – Acts 2: 1 – 4.

What it means to be FILLED with the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit

Filled means to  occupy to the full capacity, to put into a receptacle and to supply to an extreme degree or plentifully (Dictionary.com, 2015). Permeated, brimming, replete and full are synonyms (Thesarsus.com, 2015).

Pimplēmi  gives us two main comparisons that paint a picture of what it means to be filled with the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. The word  is used:

a. in the context of human beings being filled with an emotion such as fear.

b. to describe the filling of an item with something else.

Examples in which Pimplēmi   is used to indicate humans being filled with an emotion

We see that humans can be filled with emotions such as wrath, fear, madness, wonder and amazement, indignation, envy and confusion. People in the scriptures took action based on the emotions that they experienced. For example, the Jews attempted to murder Jesus when they allowed the spirit of wrath to fill them. In other words, they gave way to the devil rather than to the Spirit of God.

Human behavior exposes the inner condition of their spirits and this can be discerned by those who are trained by God. For example, Apostle Paul discerned that the Elymas the sorcerer was “full of all subtilty and all mischief …child of the devil … enemy of all righteousness” because he withstood the gospel and attempted to turn the deputy from the faith (Acts 13: 6 – 10).

Human responses are therefore directed and controlled by the power source that they permit to fill their spirits. Therefore those who are filled with the Holy Spirit will demonstrate the Spirit and Character of Christ in all His fulness:

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled ^G4130 with wrath 

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong – Luke 4: 28 & 29

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled ^G4130 with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day – Luke 5: 25 & 26.

And they were filled ^G4130 with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus – Luke 6: 11.

And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled ^G4130 with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him – Acts 3:  10.

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled ^G4130 with indignation 

And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison – Acts 9: 17.- Acts 5: 17 & 18.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled ^G4130 with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming – Acts 13: 45.

And the whole city was filled ^G4130 with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre – Acts 19: 29.

Examples in which Pimplēmi  is used to indicate an item being saturated or filled with another thing

These texts show us that being filled means to be replete or overflowing with the thing that does the filling. On the Day of Pentecost, the Disciples were so full with the Spirit of Christ that they appeared to be intoxicated. They were also able to supernaturally preach the gospel with clarity in spite of their humble backgrounds and Galilean speech:

And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled ^G4130 it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink – Matthew 27: 28.

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled ^G4130 both the ships, so that they began to sink – Luke 5: 7.

When an individual is filled with the Holy Ghost

Since He is the same yesterday, today and forever, the infilling under the New Covenant duplicated the nature and character of God in the lives of those who were filled, just as under the Old Covenant.

From the verb Pimplēmi we see that people who were filled with the Holy Spirit spoke prophetically under His direction, giving information to which they only had supernatural  access. Clarity and boldness are also evidences of this infilling:

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb – Luke 1: 15.

And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost

And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb – Luke 1: 41 & 42.

And his father Zacharias was filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying – Luke 1: 67.

Then Peter, filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, said unto them… – Acts 4: 8.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were ^G4130 all filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness – Acts 4: 31.

More astonishingly, Apostle Paul was immediately transformed from a hater of the way of Christ and transformed into a preacher when he was filled with the Holy Spirit. The infilling caused the spiritual and physical scales to fall from his blind eyes so that he understood the truth. Through the power of that same infilling, he was able to discern and judge Elymas the sorcerer:

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with ^G4130 the Holy Ghost – Acts 13: 9.

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with ^G4130 the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand

Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord – Acts 13: 9 – 12.

The believer who is filled with the Holy Ghost will wax strong in spirit

As I read the previous texts, my eyes fell on the words “waxed strong ”  in spirit, a description of the spirits of John the Baptist and Jesus.  I decided to explore.  These fascinating words were first encountered in Archangel Gabriel’s prophecy to Zechariah that John would be born and would be filled with the Holy Ghost from the womb. As a result, John “waxed strong”  in spirit as he grew up. The same was true of Jesus who was also filled with the Holy Spirit in the womb:

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled ^G4130 with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb – Luke 1: 15.

And the child grew, and waxed strong ^G2901 in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel – Luke 1: 80

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God – Luke 1: 35

And the child grew, and waxed strong ^G2901 in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him – Luke 2: 40.

Secrets revealed

We see that God fills children from the womb.  This is His Eternal Plan. Why aren’t we praying over the pregnant women and their unborn children to be filled as in the case of  John and Jesus and others under the Old Covenant (e.g. Samson, Jeremiah)? John leaped when he heard Mary greet his mother. The child can hear the external environment and respond to it. This is the reason why pregnant women need anointed hands laid on their wombs and why they must saturate their environment with the Word and Power of God.

I know of two children who I can say were definitely filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb by the laying on of hands. They love God without  question, hate satan and are very strong in spirit. God gives them unusual revelations in dreams and visions.

The church has failed our youths because they are not filled with the Holy Spirit. They are filled with gifts and talents and celebrated for  these. Nothing is wrong with that, but even satan and his demons have retained theirs. Let’s get our children back to the Holy Ghost infilling.

As I further studied waxed strong, I found that strong and strengthened are also used as synonyms. This tells us that the believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit is strong in faith, courageous, rooted in Christ, full of agape love, understanding  and full of God. Can we see that the Church desperately needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit? This is mandatory if we are to produce strong, successful and overcoming believers:

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. ^{G29 –}1 Corinthians 16: 13.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened ^G2901 with might by his Spirit in the inner man

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

¹⁸ May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

¹⁹ And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us – Ephesians 3: 16 – 20.

Waxed strong comes from the root word, the adjective krataios which is used in one to refer to the mighty hand of God. Thus the infilling with the Holy Spirit means that the believer is under the mighty hand of God and becomes like God. In turn, krataios comes from another root word which means dominion and the glorious power of God. We desperately need the infilling:

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty ^G2900 hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time – 1 Peter 5: 6.

Even more curious, I did another word search on waxed strong, finding confirmation of the dominion that occurs with the infilling. Waxed strong  is associated with military might, courage and supernatural ability to fight war. Therefore, the believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit will be empowered to overcome in adverse circumstances and opposition and will not faint:

there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker – 2 Samuel 3: 1.

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken… – Daniel 8: 8.

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens – Hebrews 11: 34.

Conclusion

The revelation of the scriptures is clear. The 20th century church desperately needs to fall down at the altar and cry out for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost has to be more than a feast or celebration. It must become the time when we desperately ask the Father to empower us to wage the warfare so that we will overcome the forces that are increasingly oppressing us.

1. Why am I writing about the Feast of Tabernacles?

The intent to write about the Feast of Tabernacles was first impressed upon me during the 2014 celebrations. I heard quite a few preachers saying that the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically refers to the Rapture because the Lord will blow His Trumpet when He returns for His Saints. While this could be true, I was shown, by revelation, that the Feast of Tabernacles refers to a more practical and immediate meaning that has not yet been applied by the Body of Christ.

2. What is the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles?

The Jewish Feast of Tabernacles (cukkah/H5521) was one of three yearly feasts that God commanded the Jews to celebrate. It was celebrated after the gathering in of the final harvest of the year and was a period of rest after four months of reaping, production and storage of food.  As in the other two feasts, God commanded the Jews to set time aside to worship and to rest.

During the celebration of these three feasts, Israel enjoyed at least 21 or more national holidays associated with spiritual renewal. This points us to the goodness of God, who desires His people to enjoy rest periods and not to slave at work. God therefore reveals that rest and not hard, relentless labor, is the ideal for the citizens of His Kingdom:

 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11: 28.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his – Hebrews 4: 9 & 10.

Cukkah, the Jewish word for Tabernacles, first occured in Genesis 33: 17 and is translated as tabernacle (12 times), booth (11 times), pavilion (5 times), cottage (1 time), covert (1 time) and tents (1 time). In the natural, Cukkah means a rude or temporary shelter and is not a place for longevity.

It was in Succoth (Cukkowth/H5523), that Jacob built a house for himself and booths for his cattle, finding a place of rest after twenty years of hard labor with his Uncle Laban:

And Jacob journeyed to Succoth (Cukkowth/H5523), and built him an house, and made booths (cukkah/H5521) for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth (Cukkowth/H5523) – Genesis 33: 17. 

Jacob should have stayed in Succoth (booths) rather than relocating close to Shechem, a Caananite city where he encountered personal disaster in an unsavory situation related to his daughter Diana.

We will avert personal and national disaster when we take time to dwell in the booths or tabernacles or Presence of God. 

3. When was the Feast of Tabernacles celebrated?

During Jewish month 7 = October

The Feast of Tabernacles was celebrated during the 7th Jewish month, with 7 pointing to the the Law of Sevens  as well as rest at the end of a period of Creation. Like the other feasts, where the dates match exactly, this play on the number 7 tells us that God used this opportunity to recreate or renew His People in His Image and Likeness:

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine – Deuteronomy 16: 13.

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty – Deuteronomy 16: 16.

King Solomon kept the Feast of Tabernacles

Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch

Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles – 2 Chronicles 8: 12 & 13.

And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem

They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required – Ezra 3: 1 & 3.

The Jews were commanded to dwell in booths  made with the branches of thick trees, during the seven days of the feast. I am reminded of the Palm Branches that the saints wave to God in heaven (Revelation 7: 9) and of those Palm branches that the Jews waved to King Jesus on His way into Jerusalem (John 12: 3):

Ye shall dwell in booths ^H5521 seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: ^H5521

That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, ^H5521 when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God- Leviticus 23: 42.

And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, ^H5521 as it is written – Nehemiah 8: 15.

Since booths represent the Presence and Protection of the Lord, the Feast of Tabernacles is a time to pray for personal and national protection

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion ^H5521 from the strife of tongues – Psalm 31: 20.

Since Tabernacle also refers to the Tabernacle of David, where the Priests were appointed to prophesy and sing, the Feast of Tabernacles is a time of prophetic utterance and revelation from heaven

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle ^H5521 of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old – Amos 9: 11.

The Feast of Tabernacles was a time to offer advanced praises to God for the blessings of the upcoming year

Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice – Deuteronomy 16: 15.

Since the Feast of Tabernacles was designed as a time of perpetual worship and resulting blessings for all nations, Kingdom Citizens should set time aside for the celebration and worship of the True and Living God in order for rain to fall on our lands

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one

And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited…

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles

And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles  – Zechariah 14: 9, 11, 16, 17 & 18.

At the end of every 7 years, God commanded Israel to set aside time during The Feast of Tabernacles for rehearsing and teaching of the scriptures to the nation

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles

When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing

Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law

And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it – Deuteronomy 31: 10 – 13.

Example of the Awesome Presence and visitation of God during the seventh month

King Solomon dedicated the Temple that he built during the Feast of Tabernacles (2 Chronicles 5: 3) the seventh Jewish month and the Presence of the Lord filled the building with such a thick cloud that the Priests could not stand to minister (1 Kings 8 & 2 Chronicles 7: 2). He set an example for us in his prayer of repentance, pleasing God to such a degree that fire came down from heaven, burning the sacrifices without human intervention (2 Chronicles 7: 1). God was pleased and appeared to the King, promising to establish him if he would keep His ways (1 Kings 9). This is a truly impressive account of the impact of the Feast of Tabernacles.

4. The Agenda of the Feast of Tabernacles and meaning for the Body of Christ

Day 1 of the seventh month – Blowing of the Trumpets, a day of rest and a convocation

= An announcement on the first day of the month that God was about to release the nation from the oppression of the enemy. How do I know this?

The meaning of the Blowing of the Trumpets was revealed in the Flood of Noah’s era. After the flood, the waters decreased continually and the tops of the mountains were seen on the 1^st day of  month 10^th (Genesis 8: 5). This is a replay of Creation Day 3 in which God removed the waters from the face of the earth, thus releasing the earth from the oppression and heaviness that had covered it (Genesis 1:  and Psalm 104: 5 – 10). This symbolically refers to the removal of satanic oppression from the nations. I believe that God used the Feast of Tabernacles to remind Israel that the earth would not remain covered under the ice of the upcoming winter.

The Blowing of the Trumpets refer to the decrees that the Body of Christ is to make against the hosts of hell in relation to any issues concerning the nations:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation

Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD – Leviticus 23: 24 & 25.

The Blowing of Trumpets was associated with worship and war. This is a time of warfare against hell and Trumpets are blown to remind God to come forth to help and deliver His people:

And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies – Numbers 10: 9.

Day 10 – Day of atonement = Time to intercede for the nations in a 24 Hour Prayer Vigil

The atonement began in the evening of the ninth day of the seventh month until the evening of the tenth 10 day. This was  a sabbath of rest:

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD

And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God

It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath – Leviticus 23: 27 & 28

Day 15 – 22nd = seven days of rest, celebration, offerings, worship, praise and rejoicing to the Almighty God, with two convocations or services on the 15th and 22nd:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein  – Leviticus 23: 24.

And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gate – Deuteronomy 16: 14

Conclusion

The Feast of Tabernacles symbolizes the gathering of the Church or Body of Christ to worship, war, repent, intercede and to give offerings to the Lord on behalf of the nations. It is a special time in which the Body of Christ should anticipate special Visitation from God and visible manifestations of signs and wonders from heaven.

I believe, according to the scriptures,  that there are many blessings to be gained if  the Church would set this time aside to adhere to this perpetual feast. Can you imagine what Earth would be like if the Church International joins forces during the seventh month of the year?

Earth’s Earliest Historical Calendar – Revealed In The Book Of Genesis

Beasts in the Book of Daniel

I titled the previous post The Two Thousand Year/2nd Millennial Reign Of Christ’s Kingdom: Birth To 2014. As I studied the Kingdom of Christ, I revisited Daniel’s prophecy of Chapter 7 in which the Prophet saw that the Kingdom of the Lord would crush human kingdoms. We know already from the Archangel Gabriel’s explanation that the beasts represent four kings that were to arise from the earth. In other words, they were not yet in power at the time of the vision.

The timeline is important because Daniel had several visions:

A. DANIEL 7 – Prophet Daniel saw the four Kingdoms represented by the Lion, Bear, Leopard and a fourth and terrible beast.

• the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon = 556 BC (Daniel 7: 1).
• King Belshazzar succeeded King Nebuchadnezzar in 556 BC and was the last of the Babylonian Kings.
• According to scripture, Darius the Mede conquered Belshazzar’s kingdom and began to rule over Babylon when he was sixty-two years (Daniel 5: 31).
• God overthrew the Kingdom of Belshazzar because he was very irreverent and worshipped demons in a celebration in which he desecrated the utensils brought out of the Jewish Temple. These had been sanctified for the worship of God and not devils – Daniel 5.

B. DANIEL 8 – Prophet Daniel saw Kingdoms represented by a ram, he goat, four horns, then a king of dark countenance and fierce sentences.

Archangel Gabriel was present in this vision and give the interpretation to Prophet Daniel, which he said would be fulfilled “at the time of the end...” (Daniel 8: 17).  This phrase is key to understanding of the biblical phrase “end times or last days” since it simply means in later days. We know this is so because the Kingdoms or era of the World Powers of the Medes, Persians, Greeks and Romans have been fulfilled in the earth.

Important points about the Daniel 8 prophecy:

• The Prophet received the vision in the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar = 553 BC.
• Prophet Daniel  saw a vision of  a terrible ram with two horns. One of these horns was higher than the other, with the higher emerging last. This ram conquered other beasts or nations.
• In the vision, Archangel Gabriel told him that this was the  kings of Media and Persia (Daniel 8: 7 & 20).
• Daniel also saw a he goat come from the west. It was swift and had a notable horn between the eyes.  This goat overpowered the ram with great fury – Daniel 8: 7.
• Archangel Gabriel told Prophet Daniel that the rough goat represented the king of Grecia or Greece, with the great horn  between his eyes referring to the Medes and Persians – Daniel 8: 21.
• In other words, the Medes and Persians would not be entirely destroyed, but would wane in power.
• However, the great horn or Super Power of the King of Greece/Greeks was broken at the height of his strength  – Daniel 8: 8.
• Archangel Gabriel told Prophet Daniel that the Super Power or great horn of the Greeks would be destroyed and would be replaced by four kingdoms that were not as powerful – Daniel 8: 22.
• A little horn emerged at the latter time of the kingdom or rule of these four and became very great. It conquered nations of the south and east and also the pleasant land or Israel – Daniel 8: 9; 23
• This kingdom would prosper by occultic practices – Daniel 8: 23 – 25.
• Archangel Gabriel prophesied that this Kingdom would oppose Christ, but would be “broken without hand.”  In other words, this kingdom would be destroyed by God  (Daniel 8: 24).
• This final kingdom in the vision represented the Romans which replaced the Greeks as a World Superpower. Indeed the Caesars decreed that they should be worshipped as God and furiously persecuted the saints for refusing to comply.

MEANING OF HORN (S) IN SCRIPTURE

Qeren  (H7161) is used for horn in scripture. However, in the context of Daniel’s vision, horn would refer to great strength, military power and might. A conglomoration of nations is represented by more than one horn on the head of the beast, with the head being the more powerful. For example, the British Commonwealth:

… his horns ^H7161 are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth… – Deuteronomy 33: 17.

My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn ^H7161 is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation – 1  Samuel 2: 1.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn ^H7161 of his anointed – 1 Samuel 2: 10.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns ^H7161 of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them – 1 Kings 22: 11.

And he came to the ram that had two horns, ^H7161 which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power – Daniel 8: 6.

And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: ^H7161 and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand – Daniel 8: 7.

And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns ^H7161 which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem – Zechariah 1: 19.

KEY THOUGHT – SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

As I studied, Archangel Gabriel showed me a comparison between the beasts in Daniel 7 and 8.  In Daniel 7, Prophet Daniel was shown four beasts or kingdoms which would succeed the Medes and Persians (ram), Greeks (rough goat) and the Romans which was represented by a King of dark and fierce countenance.

However, the Medes/Persians and Greek Kingdoms or World Super Powers  were barnyard animals in comparison to the fierce jungle animals or Lion, Bear, Leopard. The analogy speaks to the greatness, and might of the  rule of the latter kingdoms in the earth. In other words, the  latter kingdoms would rule in more extensive areas of the earth.

The King of dark and fierce countenance in Daniel 7 and the fourth and terrible beast in Daniel 8 seem to represent Kingdoms or World Powers with occultic powers. Archangel Gabriel said that this was true of the Romans (Daniel 8: 24).

We see therefore, that in each era of time, at least one kingdom will supersede the others in greatness, violence and might. Even though a kingdom may remain, it would diminish from its former might, strength and glory. The British Empire and Communist Russia are modern-day examples.

In keeping with scriptures, we saw the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the decline in communism, although Mr. Putin is attempting to reestablish the former power and glory of his kingdom. I do not believe that this will happen, in keeping with the scriptures.

In 610 AD, the nation or Kingdom of Islam emerged and  conquered of nations in specific geographic regions of the earth.  By 2010, over 1.6 billion or about 23.4% of the world population were reported to be Muslims. Of these, around 62% live in Asia–Pacific, 20% in the Middle East–North Africa, 15% in Sub-Saharan Africa, around 3% in Europe,^] and 0.3% in the Americas (WIKIPEDIA.ORG)

We see the Nation/Kingdom of Islam exerting its horn by literally pushing down and warring against the saints, very much like the kingdoms seen in Prophet Daniel’s visions. How long will Islam prosper against the saints? The Nation/Kingdom of Islam parallels Rome in behavior. However, I anticipate that the horn of Islam will be broken by the prayers of the saints, just as they broke Rome and Communist Russia. Any kingdom that wars against Christ will be broken without hand.

I hasten to say that America must beware because this nation wars in many ways against the righteous laws of the Lord.

I also noted that Prophet Daniel was first shown the kingdoms/World Powers that would emerge hundreds of years later in the earth (Daniel 8). He would have been familiar with the Medes and Persians, but it may have been unthinkable in that era that they could have conquered the Babylonians, who were strong and ruled mightily in the earth.

I am rather amused that Islam seems to be imploding on itself. The people of the Islamic nations are uprising against the autocracy of their rulers and we saw the events in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria. Syria appears to be no more.  A kingdom without people is no kingdom at all. The King of Sodom and Gomorrah told this to Abraham. We must pay attention to the Middle East as the events unfold in order to understand how the patterns in scripture evolve in the planet.

We see from scriptures that satan works through human kingdoms to oppose God and to accuse and persecute the saints.  This is certainly true today. However, God has placed an expiry date on the power and reign of the kingdoms of earth. They will all be overthrown by God and His Christ, through His CHURCH, according to Apostle John:

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night – Revelation 12: 10.

OTHER PATTERNS

The kingdoms emerge in tetrads or groups of fours. Four in scripture symbolize new season, with each kingdom successively becoming more cruel than the previous. Also, according to the pattern in the two visions, we see that the final Kingdom in the tetrad overtly opposes God and wars against the saints.

Now I need to find out which Kingdoms or World SuperPowers emerged after the Roman Empire?  

Apostle John saw these Kingdoms or  World Super in Revelation 13.

GOD JUDGES WORLD SUPERPOWERS/KINGDOMS

However,  let us see the end of Daniel’s beasts of  chapter 7.  Furiously and seriously aggravated by the fury of the beasts, especially the fourth, against His Name and His Church, the Ancient of Days emerged in justice and cast down their thrones (Daniel 7: 9 & 10):

• According to Daniel’s vision (Daniel 7), the fourth beast, which he described as “dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly,”  had his throne cast down, was judged by God and slain (Daniel 7: 7 – 11).
• In other words, this Super Power was entirely destroyed (Daniel 7: 11).
• God also judged the Lion, Bear and Leopard. They had their “dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time”  (Daniel 7: 12).
  
• In other words, these Kingdoms remained in the earth, but with  a decline in power.

It is in this vision that Jesus appeared in the Earth as the Son of Man, with the clouds representing the Glory of God in which He was shrouded. He was presented to the Ancient of Days on the Day of His Dedication, in keeping with God’s command “That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix” (Daniel 7: 13 & Exodus 13: 12).

You must note that Prophet Daniel did not write the vision of Chapter 7 in chronological order, but we see that he spoke about the saints, or the Church of Jesus Christ in order to indicate the era of time.  The fourth beast would war against the saints and speak great things against God.  I will study further on these kingdoms or World Powers and seek out their identity, since this is the pattern set by Archangel Gabriel.

CONTINUATION OF THE PROPHECY/PARABLE IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION

• We see the merging of the three remaining Superpowers of Daniel 7 in Revelation 13: 2 since  Apostle John saw ONE  beast which looked like a leopard,  had  feet like a bear and a mouth like a lion.
• Another beast emerged with two horns like a lamb, although he spake as a dragon (Revelation 13: 11).
• This is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, or rather dragon in sheep’s clothing, dragon representing satan,  as this kingdom is satan’s copy cat, according to Gabriel.
• This is the Kingdom or SuperPower of a FALSE PROPHET. Ahem.

I note that the beasts or Kingdoms  of earth SPEAK against God. This would explain their anti – God/anti – Christ laws, policies etc.

TIME FRAMES

• Medes and Persians – fulfilled from  549 – 330 BC.
• Greeks – fulfilled from 330 – 63 BC.
• Rome – fulfilled from 63 BC – 476 AD.
• What Kingdom or Super Power succeeded the Roman Empire?

The next task that I have set myself is to further explore  the Kingdoms in the vision of Daniel 8. Thank you Father, for showing us the events in World History through your servants the Prophets.

1. Introduction – Prophetic significance:

It was Monday 9th June at 4. 08 a.m. when the Father awoke me and began speaking with me about the Blueprint for the 2014 Church. It is evident that the Lord is confirming the Word spoken by the Prophets at Azuza Street on June 8th, 2014:

• April 1906 represents the Rebirth of Pentecost and June 2014 represents the celebration of Pentecost, right on the exact date. This is the Year for a New Move of  Pentecost in the Earth. Not just a day, says Father. Is the Church ready?
• 2014 – 1906 = 108 years = 100 + 8 years.
• Jacob Javits Center = Jacob = 3rd Generation from Abraham.
• 2014 is the third generation from Azuza street revival in earth = 108 years/40 years= 2.7
• Jacob represents the The third generation – the one through whom the tribes came. This is the generation that will spread the message of Pentecost to all of the tribes of earth, none other, says the Father. Jacob was the Prince with God, the one who wrestled with God and won. Heaven must come to earth because of our strong prayers.
• However, in scripture, one generation = 100 years.
• Abraham was 100 years when Isaac was born. Time for joy of the Spirit to emerge in the Church. The worldwide Move of God and Outpouring has been delayed by 8 years, due to sleep in the Church.
• Eight = restart of a new week on God’s calendar = Sunday. Let there be Light. God is ready to work in the Earth by His Spirit.

Father said:

a. It is time for the Church to walk in the Unity (henotēs/G1775) of the Faith (pistis/G4102) – (Ephesians 4: 13).

Father instructed me to explain the phrase  Unity of the Faith.  Unity is a feminine noun and is denoted henotēs (G1775) in the Greek. It is used twice in the texts of the King James Version to refer to Unity of the Spirit and Unity of the Faith:

Endeavouring to keep the unity ^G1775 of the Spirit in the bond of peace – Ephesians 4: 3.

Till we all come in the unity ^G1775 of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ – Ephesians 4: 13.

Unity (henotēs/G1775) comes from the numeral heis (G1520). It means ONE.  The scriptures teach us that God the Head is ONE and therefore the Church is ONE.  God is a family name for Three Persons with ONE AGREEMENT. The ONENESS of God is clearly revealed from the book of Genesis and illustrated beautifully in chapter 18.  Read more about the Unity of God here.

Faith is based in the truth of God. Faith (pistis/G4102)  is also used in these texts:

 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation ) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith ^G4102– Acts 13: 8.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith … ^G4102 Acts 14: 22.

how he had opened the door of faith ^G4102 unto the Gentiles… – Acts 14: 27.

so were the churches established in the faith, ^G4102 and increased in number daily – Acts 16: 5.

whereof he hath given assurance ^G4102 unto all men … – Acts 17: 31.

The Unity of the Faith refers to Unity of the Interpretation of the Word of God

Perhaps the clearest understanding of the entire phrase UNITY OF THE FAITH is seen in these texts which show that the Word of God is the “faith” to which Apostle Paul refers. We see that weak faith can lead to disputes in the body of Christ.

We therefore understand from the Holy Scriptures that the Unity of the Faith refers to ONENESS in the interpretation of scriptures in the Body of Christ:

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, ^G4102 which we preach – Romans 10: 8.

Him that is weak in the faith ^G4102 receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations – Romans 14: 1

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God – 2 Corinthians 2: 1.

(For we walk by faith, ^G4102 (by the Word of God) not by sight:) – 2 Corinthians 5: 7

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; ^G4102 prove your own selves – 2 Corinthians 13: 5

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith ^G4102 which once he destroyed – Galatians 1: 23.

We having the same spirit of faith, ^G4102 according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak – 2 Corinthians 4: 13.

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given (Matthew 13: 10 & 11).

Father told me that the Church must be careful about assigning the title of Apostle.  Walking and talking with God face to face is the core sign of Apostleship.

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith ^G4102 and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch – Acts 6: 5

And Stephen, full of faith ^G4102 and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people – Acts 6: 8

For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: ^G4102 and much people was added unto the Lord -Acts 11: 24.

Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? – 1 Corinthians 9: 1.

• He was Holy Spirit in flesh because He was conceived by the Holy Ghost. Archangel Gabriel therefore referred to Him as that Holy Thing (Luke 1: 35).
• Did Jesus come to earth as a human spirit or Spirit of God in a body of Flesh? – Philippians 2: 6 – 9.
• Jesus referred to Himself as the Holy Spirit when He warned the Scribes and Pharisees not to say that He was affiliated with Beelzebub  – Matthew 12: 31.

e. Father said that the Church must disciple new believers

through Confession of  the Son, Jesus is Christ, Turning away from sin. Baptism is symbolic of the remission of sins – dead to sin, alive to Christ. Stop inviting them to join the church as if it is a club, He says!

After entry, the believer must be involved in three years of discipleship before being launched into fulltime ministry in the church. He reminded me of Timothy who had known the scriptures since childhood. The believer must become fully knowledgeable of the truth of the Word of God.

The believer must be trained in evangelism, doctrines, worship and other foundation truths according to Hebrews 6.

 

f. Father said that the modern day, 20th Century Church is in a state of Apostasy.

The condition of the church is represented in the Parable of the Ten Virgins:

• Virgins– In the Book of Revelation, Virgins go with the Lamb everywhere He goes = fellowship, special recognition.
• Ten – double grace or favor
• Five = grace, favor of God on His church.
• Lamps = Light, Spiritual alertness, Shining before men, Connected to God. The Lamps in the Temple were always to remain lit. Prophet Zechariah revealed that the reborn human spirit is directly connected to the candlestick in heaven or to the Three Members of the God Family.
• The BRANCH is connected to the trees
• Meeting the Bridegroom = Father told me this represents  the Move of God. This symbolizes nuptials in the natural, consummation of the marriage, joy, excitement, celebration, ecstasy.
• 10 Virgins = the Church of Jesus upon whom He bestowed His grace of forgiveness and salvation.
• Five were wise = house/life was built on the Word of God (Matt 7: 24); feeding the flock (Matt 24: 45 & 46), working in the Kingdom (Matt 25: 8 & 9).
• Five were foolish = a hearer not doer of the Word (Matt 7: 26); unstable (Matt 7: 26); spiritually blind (Matt 23: 17 & 19); worldly (1 Cor 1: 27 & 1 Cor 3: 18); teaching and practicing foolish doctrines and debates/world view (2 Tim 2: 23; Titus 3: 9); spiritually immature (from the root in 1 Corinthians 14: 20).
• The five foolish virgins represented the condition of Israel when the Bridegroom came to seek and to save the Lost.
• Oil = ministry to the sick, demon possessed and the wounded; ministering to the Lord in worship; joyful; quickened by the Holy Spirit, responsive, listening.
• The foolish took lamps no oil – outward appearances; dormant; loss of connection and fellowship with God.
• Some slumbered and some slept = 2 groups in the church
• Slumber = the root word means to beckon, nod off, not in deep sleep.  Father told me these saints have entered the Rest of God. Nothing bothered them – place of peace. They had no loss of fellowship.
• Slept – Father told me sleep means death. Since the five foolish virgins were not dead, Jesus meant that they were spiritually dead and their lights had gone out. They were sinning.
• Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, ^G2518 and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light (Ephesians 5: 14)
• Bridegroom came at midnight – Move of God. Father told me that Midnight parallels Egypt. The Bridegroom is coming, not as the Death Angel, but to deliver the Bride from loneliness, to cause the Church to enter a lifetime of joy and protection, provision and spiritual productivity.
• Five = the Favor of God will be transferred to the Church in the Move of God. Five also means that the favor of God must be received by the Church. Five virgins wanted the favor of God, but could not be quickened in time.
• There is no ecstasy, joy, celebration etc in the Presence of the Lord because some are slumbering and some are sleeping.
• Gabriel said that there is no time to prepare when the Move of God comes. It is here. Those who are sleeping will be left out.

Gabriel then asked me: What word is the Church hearing?

He answered: A corrupt Word.

He asked: Who is teaching the Word?

He answered: False teachers and Apostles.  The people cannot discern between truth and error.

Archangel Michael asked, “how will Jesus descend from HEAVEN?“

He answered, “with a trumpet, in His Archangel’s voice.”

1. The context of  Malachi’s prophecy in Malachi 3

I need to write a bit about the context of  Malachi’s prophecy, which the Father says is  Messianic in order for the Mystery of the Communion to be fully understood.  Malachi opens the prophecy by speaking about the Messenger or Ambassador who would prepare (panah /H6437) the way of the Lord. The usage of panah shows that the Messenger (mal’ak/H4397) John the Baptist,  would turn back the people to  God or to repent of  their sins, cause Israel to look to God.

The suddenness of Messiah’s appearance to His earthly Temple reminds me of Apostle Paul’s prophecy of another future appearance when the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5: 2):

Behold, I will send my messenger (mal’ak/H4397), and he shall prepare (panah /H6437) the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger (mal’ak/H4397) of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts – Malachi 3: 1.

Malachi further prophesied that John would come in the Spirit of Elijah or behaving like Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD – Malachi 4: 5.

Prophet Isaiah also prophesied about the Messenger who would prepare the way of the Lord. Isaiah used also used panah to mean prepare or repent as well as yashar (H3474), a verb that indicated that the one crying in the wilderness would command Israel to please God, to walk uprightly and to do good. 

Yashar  is added for emphasis and its usage in scripture shows that Israel was in a deplorable spiritual and moral decline at the time of the Messiah’s appearance.

Prophet John fufilled his calling of the Messiah’s forerunner during the time of his ministry. This is why Jesus said that there was no one greater in the Kingdom of Heaven than John the Baptist::

 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare/panah ^H6437 ye the way of the LORD, make straight (yashar/H3474)  in the desert a highway for our God  (Isaiah 40: 3).

 

2. Prophet Malachi revealed that Messiah would suddenly appear even while John His Ambassador preached repentance to the nation of Israel

Prophet Malachi warned Israel that the Lord, the Messenger of the Covenant, would suddenly appear in His temple during the ministry of His Ambassador:

… the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger (mal’ak/H4397) of the covenant (bĕriyth/H1285), whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts – Malachi 3: 1.

The Prophet referred to Lord Jesus as the Messenger of the Covenant. There are direct references in scripture to Covenants (Leagues or Confederacies) that God made with humans.  Was the Prophet referring to the Covenant that God made with Abraham to be their God and that they would be His people? Is the Prophet referring to the Covenant made with Moses in Sinai? Is God speaking about the New Covenant of salvation through the Blood of Jesus?

To my mind, exclusiveness lies at the core of any covenant that  God made with humans in scripture. In the Covenants, He exclusively Promises to be the God of those who will exclusively serve Him. However, Israel continued to break this covenant with God.

 

3. Prophet Malachi warned that the nation would not be able to abide the Day of  Messiah’s coming because He would be indignant at the corruption of the Temple

Prophet Malachi warned that Israel would not be able to abide (kuwl/H3557) the day of Messiah’s coming, because He would appear in the temple with Spirit of Cleansing. Abide (kuwl/H3557) in the scriptures is used to mean nourish, feed, contain, sustain.

Aided with the benefit of hindsight, I believe that the Prophet referred to the indignation (Jeremiah 10: 10) of the Messiah as He dealt with the spiritual condition of the religious leaders. Messiah would pour out the Word of God that had been shut up in His bones since childhood and would reprove them (Jeremiah 20: 9). He could not hold in His indignation as He witnessed the deplorable situation (Jeremiah 6: 11). Messiah was so holy that the earthly temple could neither receive nor contain His righteousness. The standard was too low for the Lord.

Messiah had come to restore, to nourish, to feed the people with spiritual food.  Instead, however, He met a nation and religious system in which the people practiced sorcery, adultery, false swearers and oppressors. Elders in the church should follow Messiah’s response to  sin in the church. I concluded that Prophet Malachi revealed  that hatred and anger for the exposure of their hypocrisy lay at the root of Jesus’ crucifixion. Rather than repenting, the leaders hatred rose daily to fever pitch:

But who may abide  H3557(kuwl) the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s (tsaraph /H6884) fire, and like fullers’ (kabac/H3526)  soap – Malachi 3: 2

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain ^H3557 thee; how much less this house that I have builded? – 1 Kings 8: 27.

… the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive ^H3557 the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. – 1 Kings 8: 64

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold ^H3557 no water – Jeremiah 2: 13

Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: ^H3557 I will pour it out upon the children abroad…  – Jeremiah 6: 11

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide ^H3557 his indignation – Jeremiah 10: 10

… for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide ^H3557 it?- Joel 2: 11

 

4. What is the Day of His Coming?

Prophet Malachi said that Israel would not be able to abide the Day (yowm /H3117) of the Lord’s Coming.  I believe that  The Day of His Coming referred to the three-year period of His Ministry. It therefore began when John introduced Jesus as the Lamb of God and ended when He ascended to heaven.

Since the word day (yowm) occurs thousands of times in scripture, I searched blueletterbible.org for The Day of  the Lord   and discovered that Malachi further prophesied that the time of the Lord’s ministry would be a great and dreadful day… (Malachi 4: 5). It would be dreadful because the scriptures reveal that He was acerbic and sharp in the rebuke of the Scribes and Pharisees. He spared no one from His wrath.

The Day of the Lord is one of  His visitation and must be interpreted in each context in which it is given. In Malachi 3, the Day of the Lord referred to His appearance in the earth in human form to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and to save the people from their sins.

These are common themes in scriptures about the Day of the Lord:

• the proud will be humiliated  – Isaiah 2: 12/
• destruction  – Isaiah 13: 6; Joel 1: 15
• wrath, fierce anger, desolation of the land and destruction of sinners – Isaiah 13: 9
• a time in which the Lord executes vengeance against His adversaries, as in the destruction of Pharaoh. In that day, the reward of the heathen will return on their heads – Jeremiah 46: 10; Obadiah 1: 15;
• the Lord fights against His enemies – Ezekiel 13: 5
• time of the heathen or destruction of those who rage against God – Ezekiel 30: 3
• Solar and lunar eclipses – Joel 2: 31
• a time of decision – Joel 3: 14
• a day of darkness over the earth, like the darkness in Egypt and the three-hour period of darkness over Israel at the time of time of the crucifixion of the Lord –  Amos 5: 18 & 20.
• bitter crying of the mighty men of the earth – Zephaniah 1: 14
• a day when the people of God will divide the spoils of battle, like Jehoshaphat and the nation did after God killed the armies that came against them. In other words, His people will inherit the wealth of the heathen by Divine Transfer – Zechariah 14: 1
• the day when the earth shall be judged – 1 Corinthians 5: 5
• judgement of the earth in which the “elements of the earth will melt with fervent heat.” This speaks of the era in which we live. Glaciers are melting and the earth is experiencing climatic disruptions due to Global Warming – 2 Peter 3: 10

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren (Luke 22: 31 & 32).

The Lord rebuked satan when he tried to interrupt the restoration of the Temple in Jerusalem – Zechariah 3: 1 & 2.

Apostle Paul reported that Father permitted satan to send demonic onslaught in order to keep him on his knees – 2 Corinthians 12: 7 – 9).

1. Introduction to “Jerusalem is the GARDEN of Eden”

I had begun to write about the River Pison when I decided to explore the Hebrew word for GARDEN .

I did so because I had been thinking about  Archangel Gabriel’s Words that  “Israel is Eden, Jerusalem is the Garden of  Eden” (#Archangel #Gabriel’s Question About The Garden Of #Eden).

As I reviewed the Hebrew word for “GARDEN”  my eyes were opened to  an astonishing discovery  which  confirmed Archangel Gabriel’s Words that “Israel is Eden, Jerusalem is the Garden of  Eden.”

Here are the key texts:

And the LORD God planted a GARDEN¹⁵⁸⁸   and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the GARDEN¹⁵⁸⁸, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And a river went out of Eden to water the GARDEN¹⁵⁸⁸; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads…

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the GARDEN¹⁵⁸⁸ of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the GARDEN¹⁵⁸⁸   thou mayest freely eat  (Genesis 2: 8 – 10; 15 & 16).

2. Gan, the Hebrew word for the GARDEN of Eden

A review of the cross references show that Gan,  the Hebrew word for GARDEN  was used specifically in reference to the:

• GARDEN  of Eden
•  GARDEN  of Eden, which was the point at which River Eden parted into four heads.
• location of the Tree of Life
• site of the temptation and fall of the human race into sin.

 The translators of the Hebrew text used other synonyms for  Gan.  These synonyms, when applied to Eden/Jerusalem, reveal that is was:

• well watered – Genesis 13: 10; Isaiah 58: 11.
• a garden of herbs – Deuteronomy 11: 10; 1 Kings 21: 2.
• associated with Kings’ palaces or dwellings – 2 Kings 21: 18.
• enclosed – Songs of Solomon 4: 12 (parallel in Isaiah 5).
• a place where spices, pleasant fruit, flowers like lillies,  cedars and other trees grew – Songs of Solomon 4: 16 & 6: 2; Ezekiel 31: 8& 9.
• the garden of the Lord/His place of relaxation – Genesis 13: 10; Isaiah 51: 3; Ezekiel 28: 13; Ezekiel 31: 8& 9.

As I completed this paragraphy, I heard ARCHANGEL GABRIEL SAY THAT HE IS CALLING ON ISRAEL TO RESTORE  JERUSALEM, HIS GARDEN /GAN,  BACK TO ITS FORMER  GLORY AND A PLACE WHERE THE FATHER CAN DWELL.

3. The secret that JERUSALEM IS EDEN is hidden in  GANAN/H 1598, the root word for GARDEN/Gan

As I read the texts related to  GAN/GARDEN  I decided to explore its root word  GANAN/H 1598.   GANAN/H 1598 occurs eight times in seven verses in the Hebrew concordance of the King James Version of the Bible.

GANAN/H 1598, the root word for GAN/GARDEN  is used specifically in reference to the city of Jerusalem:

• For I will defend¹⁵⁹⁸ this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake – 2 Kings 19: 34.
• And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend¹⁵⁹⁸ this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake – 2 Kings 2o: 6.
• As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend¹⁵⁹⁸ Jerusalem; defending¹⁵⁹⁸ also he will deliver [it; and] passing over he will preserve it –  Isaiah 31: 5.
• For I will defend¹⁵⁹⁸ this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake – Isaiah 37: 35.
• And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend¹⁵⁹⁸ this city –  Isaiah 38: 6.
• The LORD of hosts shall defend¹⁵⁹⁸ them… –   Zechariah 9: 15.
• In that day shall the LORD defend¹⁵⁹⁸ the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.  – Zechariah 12: 8.

These texts serve to reveal that:

1. Jerusalem is the GAN/GARDEN  of Eden.
2. God will defend His GAN/GARDEN from extinction by enemies because of His Promise to David. I pray that Israel will take comfort in the Word of the Lord and look to Him for refuge and defense.

Father I ask now for blessings, peace, angelic prosperity and protection upon your people Israel.

4. Comparisons

I found three Hebrew and  one Greek word that are used for Garden. However,  they do not refer at all to Jerusalem as the Garden of  Eden.  GANAN/H 1598 is the only  word that does so very specifically –

1. ginnah/H 1594
   
2. gannah/H 1593
3. garden of cucumbers ⁴⁷⁵⁰
4. Greek word – garden ²⁷⁷⁹

1.  Archangel  Gabriel’s question about the Garden of Eden

It is (by human standards) Sunday 21st April 2013 at 2. 04 a.m.  I had just awoken from deep sleep just around 1. 58 a.m. when I heard Archangel Gabriel ask:

“so baby, what does Eden mean again?”

2.  Eden means “pleasure”

I immediately saw the connection – Israel is referred to as “the pleasant land” in scripture. I got up, typed Eden   (H5731/`Eden)  into the search box at http://blueletterbible.com to confrim. Eden means “pleasure.”

When I got the aha as a result of the official documentation, Archangel Gabriel then told me:

“Israel is Eden, Jerusalem is the Garden of  Eden.”

Thank you #Father.  Then He told me:

“this is why there is a New Jerusalem coming down from heaven.”

3. Review of the parallels between Eden, Israel and Jerusalem

About two years ago, when I first began to search for Eden’s location, Archangel Gabriel had told me that Israel was Eden. I had believed and had found the answer, but this statement was further revelation on the issue.

I can see the parallels very clearly (thank you #Father). Here is a reminder from the previous post about the parallels between Eden, Israel, Ezekiel’s Temple And The Jerusalems:

1. Eden and the Garden of Eden were located in the East of Earth
2. Jerusalem is located on the same latitude and longitude of Israel
3. The Temple Mount is also located  on almost the exact geographic location as both Israel and  Jerusalem
4. Heavenly Jerusalem has a Tabernacle located East, and God patterned an earthly  Tabernacle after the heavenly.
5. Heavenly Jerusalem has a Tree of Life, so did Eden and Jesus represented the Tree of Life during His Ministry in the Earth.
6. God placed a Guardian Cherubim at the East entrance of the Garden of Eden to prevent Adam and Eve from accessing the Tree of Life
7. East represented the official entrance to the Garden as seen in Ezekiel’s vision of the new Temple in Jerusalem.
8. There is a literal Tree of Life. What fruit or plant is indigenous and possibly unique to Israel, and that is found in Jerusalem in the area of the Temple?

4. Israel as the pleasant land in scripture

There are four direct references in scripture to Israel as “THE PLEASANT LAND.”  These references are made to show the parallels between Israel and Eden:

 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them

Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word (Psalm 106: 23 & 24).

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers

But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me (Jeremiah 3: 18 & 19).

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land (Daniel 8: 9).

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate (Zechariah 7: 14).

5. Where are the rivers?

The answer will require more extensive search. However, I found three clues to date:

a. The Nile and Euphrates formed part of  the boundaries of  Israel as promised to Abraham:

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates – Genesis 15: 18)

b. Lebanon was territory given by God to Israel (Deut 11: 24).

c.  God included the Euphrates as part of the Jewish border – link here.  

For example, King David went to recover his border at the river Euphrates then to establish his dominion there (2 Samuel 8: 3 & 1 Chronicles 18: 3).

Revelation 16: 12 showed that an Angel dried up the river Euphrates in order to prepare a highway for the Kings of the East.  Did this happen to the river that flowed out of Eden?

6.   Why is satan fighting violently for the occupation of Jerusalem and the destruction of Israel?

Satan feel that Eden belongs to him. He used to be the chief worship leader  in Eden, the Garden of God. I believe that this referred to the Heavenly Jerusalem (Ezekiel 28: 13).  That explains why he fights so vigorously for the occupation of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Jews. He wants  Jerusalem to become his worship city – for the aggravation of God.

1. Can a human shout favor or grace to a  great mountain?

In the previous post we studied “Eleven Virtues That Will Bring You Into Favor With God And Humans.”   Last Saturday I reviewed the scriptures that contained the word “favor” or “grace” was cited by Zechariah 4: 7:

Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace (chen), grace  (chen)  unto it.

I heard the Father say to me that God instructed Prophet Zechariah told to tell Zerubbabel to shout “favor” to the mountain!

2. Prophet Zechariah was not referring to a literal mountain – the context.

It was 521 BC and seventeen years after the return from exile in Babylon when Prophet Zechariah wrote the words “shoutings, [crying], Grace (chen), grace  (chen)  unto it.” 

The people were hopeful and optimistic and started the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem one year after the repatriation. To their horror, their enemies began to vigorously oppose them, making accusations and writing letters to the King Cambyses. The King passed a law to stop the work of the Lord. Sounds familiar?

God revealed to Prophet Zechariah in a vision (Zechariah 3) that satan was the mastermind,  accuser and chief obstruction of the rebuilding of the temple.   Strengthened by the Lord’s defense of His people, Prophets Haggai and Zechariah told Zerubbabel to recommence the work which had lain dormant for all of those years.

In confirmation of the heavenly vision, King Darius was not favorable towards any further opposition and commanded the rebuilding to recommence.

In Zechariah 4, God revealed to Zechariah that the great mountain of opposition would become if they would shout “favor, favor” unto it:

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof:

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof.

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof.

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts

Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace (favor,  favor) unto it.

 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you (Zechariah 4: 2 – 7 & 9)

3. Why were they to shout “favor, favor”

As I write, I hear the Father say that the mountain represented satan and his antics in the invisible realm. I hear the Father say that satan instigated his willing subjects to vigorously withstand the rebuilding of the Temple. The Temple represented the place where the worship of God would prevail and bring his kingdom to zero.

Anytime the Jews faced opposition, they were to loudly shout “favor, favor” as a reminder to satan that he had no legal authority to obstruct the work. They were to loudly yell that the set time to favor Jerusalem had come and that they would NOT accept the plans of the enemy.

When they shouted they were declaring that the Prophetic Word of the Lord regarding the temple was true and that the enemy could do nothing to stop it.

When we shout “favor favor” the Lord comes forth to fight on our behalf in order to establish His Word.

This is really amusing and reminds me of the shouting at the wall of Jericho.  Shouting “favor favor” is secret weapon of spiritual mass destruction.

Why don’t you apply the principles revealed to Prophet Zechariah and the people of Israel?

4. My own experiences and results shouting “favor, favor”

I began shouting “favor favor” on Saturday and continued doing so all week. I have not stopped.  I shouted the Word of the Lord at satan, difficult people (not in their presence), difficult situations, resources that I need, resources that my nation needs. My list can go on…

Miracles took place when I shouted “favor, favor”

God miraculously provided free and valuable resources that I needed for a project that I am working on. I would not have been able to buy them all.

Resources kept coming to me in a snow ball manner.

Difficult people became easy to get along with.
